Operation principle
The special technique in question works on the principle of aggregation of compressed air with a coloring composition, which is supplied to the working area using a compressor, divided into three parts. One of them goes to the paint tank, the second stream goes to the pressurized solvent container, and the third stream goes to the gun. The future coating under pressure is crushed and forced out through the spray gun onto the road.

Compared to paints, plastic counterparts have a third longer service life. The markings applied by the main units are clearly visible in clear weather, but in fog and at night they are not so well visible. Reflection of light is one of the determining factors in the quality of a material. Such properties are imparted to the coating by special components included in the curedpaint AK-511 or polymer coating.
To ensure the reflection of light, the newly applied image of stripes or signs is processed with microscopic balls. Under their own weight, the components are poured into the common layer, where they solidify. The glowing effect is achieved by reflecting the light of car headlights towards the driver.
Notation
The markings on the road surface include the following varieties:
- Solid and double solid line. The crossing of such elements is prohibited, they separate the flows of vehicles traveling in opposite directions.
- Dotted stripe. It also separates the flow of cars, but it is allowed to cross it, subject to other traffic rules.
- Lines drawn transversely. They are mainly designed to regulate the movement of pedestrians. For drivers, this marking is a signaling device for a decrease in speed and special vigilance. The main marking of the transverse type indicates a pedestrian crossing ("zebra").
Pictograms and arrows
Designation on the roads in the form of pictograms suggests the display of features of recognizable objects that require attention. For example, a bike symbol indicates the presence of a bike lane. A similar emblem with a disabled person in a wheelchair indicates parking for people with disabilities.
The thickness of the layer of the area to be painted with markings ranges from 0.8 mm when sprayed and up to 3 mm when coldthermoplastic. The arrows indicate the possible movement of vehicles or pedestrians. They can be single, double or triple. On active and significant tracks, such marking is duplicated by the corresponding sign.
Requirements
It is worth noting that the average service life of the paint marking is six months, while the polymer coating lasts 2-3 times longer. The optimal temperature for applying symbols is considered to be in the range from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius. According to government standards, the width of the markings can exceed the width of no more than 100 millimeters.
Insufficient lighting in parking lots and car parks requires the introduction of reflective components into the applied material. Locations of fire hydrants, fire extinguishers, emergency exits are marked with luminescent or luminous paints.

Correct road markings in parking spaces must meet certain requirements:
- The calculation of the dimensions of the cells and the width of the passages is carried out taking into account the possibility of the arrival and departure of the car, as well as the possibility of opening the doors and moving around the parking lot.
