This was a meetup or gathering, not sure, it was across the street from the office I work at, so of course I had to walk over and check it out. Apparently this hot rod club has been doing business with this bank for many years, so the bank put together an event for the club members to come out with their cars, there was food, etc. Here are some of the cool and interesting cars:

Image

A 1926/27 Model T Ford, nicely restored to a stock, original configuration

Image

Still has the crank, although it did have an electric start as well

Image

Image

1967 427 Corvette, by far one of the best Vette's ever made

Image

Old Ford, not sure of the year, probably a '33 or '34

Image

This Ferrari 308 looked out of place, but a very nice car, and no, it was not Magnum PI's car :)

Another '33 or '34 Ford, loved this one

Image

An old Mercury 'Woodie', you don't see these much

Image

Image

1953 Mercury Monterey, the 'MercMatic' -which probably just meant it was an automatic

Image

1932 Ford, built by a famous Hot Rod builder out of Oakland CA. The owner was really nice

Image

The owner let these kids check out the inside of the car, sit in it, pretend they were driving it. I thought that was cool.

Image

Rarely seen, this '32 Ford had an actual, Ford motor in it. Typically these hot rods have Chevy motors.

Early Corvette, very nice

1957 Ford T-Bird. This is like the quintessential T-Bird.

Image

The 'Corveep'. This is an old Jeepster body place on top of a newer Corvette. Why? Don't know, but it's interesting

Image

Notice the interior of the Corvette, in the Jeep body

1940 Ford, love this, and the back seat was HUGE :)
