Hello.

So the second (after 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe) SUV from General Motors made its debut and I want to say that I liked this car much more.

In general, the appearance, the cars get pretty predictably similar to relatives - pickups.

And if the new Tahoe (logically reminiscent of Silverado) received a rather restrained and compromise "appearance",

That new GMC Yukon 2021 model year - received a more "American" monumental chrome design in the style of GMC Sierra. And this is very happy)

So. What did they show us?

Actually the standard and "long" versions.

2021 GMC Yukon and 2021 GMC Yukon XL

The motors on the Yukons are identical to those of the Takhovs.

- The naturally aspirated 6.2-liter L87 V8 is standard on the Denali and produces 420 hp.

Meanwhile, the rest of the models come standard with a naturally aspirated 5.3L L84 V8 engine, while the 3.0L I6 LM2 Duramax turbo diesel has been added to the engine lineup as an option. All engines are powered by GM's new 10-speed automatic transmission.

But at the same time, GM reacted in a very peculiar way to the criticism made against them after the release of the current GMC Sierra. Observers, journalists (and ordinary buyers) really liked the appearance of the pickup. I liked the rich equipment, etc.

But at the same time, I absolutely did not like the fact that the Sierra has the same interior as in the much cheaper Chevrolet Tahoe. Buyers complained that this was tantamount to putting a Tahoe salon in the Escalade.

And what about GM?

The decision with the salon 2021 GMC Yukon took a peculiar one.

Now there are officially two salons.

The first version (conditionally Takhovsky) is installed in the basic version, as well as the GMC Yukon AT4 version sharpened for OffRoad (with increased ground clearance, red tow hooks, off-road tires, etc.).

The second version of the cabin will be installed in the top version of the GMC Yukon Denali.

And it differs significantly from the "conditionally Takhovsky" version. This salon, apparently, is much closer to what will be in the new Escalade (debut very soon. February 4 this year).

In general, the car turned out to be very effective. Bright. With all the hallmarks of a large American, 4WD behemoth. With square shapes and an abundance of chrome.

Personally, this makes me very happy.

I hope there are ways to bring such handsome men to the Russian Federation.
