Finally, hands reached the factory and Loaf. And then it’s a shame - there was a Patriot in the Expedition version, there was an Expeditionary Hunter, but there was no Expedition Loaf.

Now she has officially appeared. By the way, this is not the only surprise!

Of course, these are the power bumpers that Loaf lacked so much.

Remember the saying of experienced drivers: that the hood is “one and a half meters of life”, but about the Loaf they said that only a millimeter of metal separates your legs from the obstacle.

A power bumper would come in handy here. But according to the new technical regulations, it cannot be installed independently. But if the plant included such a possibility in the documents, then please.

We have just such a case!

Fully factory body kit, which is included in the permits at the stage of model certification.

The design is really not so hot, but it's better than nothing.

Although there are no identification marks on the bumper, these are 99% products of the RIVAL company, which previously installed its products on UAZ models. From the complaints of users - not the most convenient construct, which also quickly rusts.

Why such a "clever" roof ladder design?

The ladder leans upward. In the open position, it is held by two gas shock absorbers.

In the closed position, it is fixed with a rubber clip.

Unfortunately, the staircase blocks the right door, which is the main one (opens first). So that it will have to be folded back every time you need something in the cargo hold.

Why, instead of such a complex structure, it was impossible to make an ordinary overhead ladder, which is simple and practical, is not clear.

The spare wheel is attached to the swing gate and covers both doors at once.

To open the gate, you need to:

1. pull out the cotter pin

3. Disengage the locking mechanism.

And only then move the spare wheel to the side.

The whole structure is quite massive.

The rear bumper has significantly reduced overhang. Why it was necessary to make it so low is unclear. After all, there are time-tested designs that do not look like such a "plow".

Against this background, the towbar, which is usually the lowest hanging place, even looks elegant.

It is fastened under the "American square", and according to the documents it passes as a towing device for Toyota Land Cruiser!

The cargo compartment is not very large, although a lot of things can be stowed in height, but without shelves it will be difficult to do this. So that there is room for creativity.

There is a light bulb on the ceiling, but there is no ceiling upholstery. Bare iron!

In the gaps between the partition and the body, typesetting sheets of insulation are inserted.

The decision is to say bluntly. It would be good for a garage workshop, but not for a factory.

Unfortunately, the quality and aesthetics of welded joints not only did not change for the better, but became even worse.

Expedition rack is made in the form of a basket.

For some reason, some of the sections are made with a grid. It is unlikely that small things will be put here, but you will be tortured to sweep snow and foliage from under such sections.

The front bumper is integrated with the "kengurin" (headlight protection)

There are no complaints about the bumper, and the "kengurin" looks disproportionately massive. (In addition, it closes the branded UAZ "birdie" - a mess!)
