Sebastian Loeb's legendary car
Citroen, except for the simulator, did not surprise with anything. Of course, there was a new crossover from DS4 (sub-brand), where LED headlights and 38 possible colors for painting the car were redesigned. The car has a 30 mm higher ground clearance, black plastic lining on the wheel arches, a dark rear spoiler and exterior mirrors. Citroën AirCross Concept
Another premiere was the new C4 Cactus M, a copy of a very old version of Mehari. New recycled windshield, body and doors made from lightweight plastic, the fabric roof can be used as a tent when not installed on the vehicle. Wetsuit-like neoprene waterproof seats and floor drainage holes. The car is clearly designed for the warm shores of Monaco and France. For most of Europe it will be useless.
Lexus RC 350 F Sport
This is the second car that just knocked me down. You remember that I spoke flatteringly about the new Jaguar. So I will also compliment the new RC 350 F Sport. In general, the Japanese are great. They brought two versions of the RC 350 to Germany. One is average and the other is sports. Plus, at their stand one could find another premiere, which the world has been waiting for for 7 years. The Lexus RX, once the most popular third-generation crossover, has become for many a choice of buying a car. Well guys, in 7 years it's time to change it. The fourth generation will amaze you on the spot. The entire frontal part has been redesigned, where is the powerful radiator grille, slanted LED headlights, the original geometry of the wheel arches, but for some reason the Japanese did not touch the backside, alas, there are not many changes there. The car became 12 cm longer and 1 cm wider, everything remained in place in height. 3,A 5-liter V6 with 300 horsepower with an 8-speed automatic or a hybrid of your choice. I see I see your indignation, may there be a sport package with a different engine mode and a new transmission, but so far there is no information about this.

The onboard panel, really at a glance, is very informative and accessible. What was another discovery for me was the gas pedal. Massive triangular platform extending into the floor. Still, I found one drawback, in Japan they stopped making touch monitors? Display without touchscreen system. The display control console resembles a mouse in a laptop and is located right next to the gearbox. Inconvenientinterferes and wasted space.
Peugeot Quartz Concept
Pejo, as well as last time, do not bring us anything new from production cars. They have no restyling and in general the French have been carrying the conceptual Quartz for two years in a row. When will they start producing it? This time they provided information about the engine and I ask myself, is it real? 4-cylinder hybrid 1.6-liter THP turbocharged petrol engine producing 270 hp. with a torque of 330 Nm and an electric motor of 115 "horses", which is powered by a 400 watt battery. As an additional engine and to charge the battery, another 85 kW electric unit is used, located at the rear of the car. We were also told about the limited slip differential and air suspension, which is automatically regulated and selects the optimal ground clearance (from 300 to 350 mm) depending on the driving conditions.
The second concept is Fractal. City electric car. It weighs only 1000 kg and measures 3.81 meters long and 1.77 meters wide. Four-wheel drive vehicle with a power electric transmission, consisting of two electric motors with a capacity of 102 hp, one per axle and is powered by a 30 kW battery. The maximum travel distance is estimated at 450 km. Inside is an evolutionary version of the interior called the i-Cockpit. It uses a head-up display with a holographic screen, as well as a 7.7-inch AMOLED display built into the center console with a touchscreen, as part of the infotainment system, which is exactly the Comedy Club in traffic that we lacked.

Subaru brought a new Levorg to the exhibition. In Japan, this car has been produced for almost a whole year and everyone is used to this model, but for an old woman in Europe it was a premiere. Specifications have not been released, but the Japanese version is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine producing 170 hp. and 250 Nm of torque. Or a 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 300 hp. and 400 Nm of torque. Both work with a CVT gearbox and an all-wheel drive system. I will say in the cabin that you guys, alas, will not find anything interesting and tasty for yourself here. There is not a single detail that is remembered or interested in something. It would be better if they did not bring it at all, where are you good old STI.

Toyota has unveiled the new Prius. Already the fourth generation is "significantly" different from the previous car. The new TNGA platform has contributed to an increase in size, an improvement in body rigidity by up to 60% and a decrease in fuel consumption. The Prius is 60mm longer, 15mm wider and 20mm lower than the previous model, which means more passenger space and a much larger trunk. I did not upload a photo of the Prius, since I could not find anything new. We were also provided with a hybrid C-HR concept, but that was all already last year.
So many expectations from the Germans and nothing in return. Their renowned GTI came as no surprise. The new generation of Astra K., where the designers managed to reduce the weight by 200 kg and the promise to change the interior, yes. Now this is far from Astra, something between the Tiger and the Cascade. But practical customers were offered the Astra Sport Tourer station wagon with a huge 1600 liter trunk, with the seats folded. The choice of engines is great, there is also a 1.0-liter with three cylinders and a supercharged 105 hp; new 1.4-liter turbocharged with 125 hp and 150 hp. and a more economical 1.6-liter CDTi rated at 95 hp. and 136 hp. Not much.
He's not worth introducing
Nissan is immediately a huge minus. A legendary car, very interesting and always in great demand, and Nissan only brings one of these. By the way, Ford Mustang did the same. The interior is minimalistic with four separate seats. It is painted in matt gray and red-orange colors. Let the Japanese call it a separate concept, but I would like it to be the new Juke 2.0, especially since there are enough crossovers in the Nissan fleet, where there are Murano, X-Trail, Juke or Qashqai.

Mazda has shown us the new Koeru concept, which heralds a CX-4 crossover in the near future. For some reason, the design of the concept reminds me of the former from above and Pejo, Lexus and Citroen. Something tells me that a serious struggle will soon unfold in the crossover market. The name Koeru literally translates as "exceed" - to go beyond. Koeru measures 4.6 meters long, 1.9 meters wide and 1.5 meters high. The concept seats up to five passengers and is mounted on massive 21-inch wheels. This car was called "the choice of courageous youth", but whether Mazda dares to enter the market with it, the youth will find out.
