Without a doubt, the new Mission E project was conceived as a worthy answer to the "upstart" Musk, who brazenly encroached on the domain of legendary brands with history. In building the new product, Porsche has drawn on its vast sporting experience gained from the successful 919 Hybrid racing program.
The prototype is equipped with two electric motors with a total power of over 600 hp. Like the Tesla Model S, the battery is housed in the underside of the vehicle, between the front and rear axles, for optimal mass distribution and the lowest possible center of gravity. The body is made from a mix of aluminum, steel and recyclable carbon polymer. The very stylish 21 '' (front) and 22 '' (rear) wheels are made of lightweight and durable carbon fiber.
