What is Alfa Romeo for laymen?
This is an Italian automaker who is going to die from year to year and will not die in any way.
One of the reasons for such longevity is FIAT's zealous unwillingness to get rid of the legendary brand.
Why do we need Alpha today? After all, there are far more successful car manufacturers, and there are far from being a few of them. Does it make sense to climb into a crowded bus that is already barely going?
There is only one answer - YES, ALPHA MUST LIVE! Because like any other Italian car, Alpha is not only a vehicle, but also a work of art! Just like Ferrari, like Maserati, like Lamborghini, her task is not only to be fast, but also stunningly beautiful!
I would even say that the current Alpha is a Ferrari for the poor for mass consumption, albeit not the very poor.
Why Ferrari? See for yourself:
Approaching the car, first of all you will be greeted by her sensual gaze of beautiful slanting headlights. Such a design cannot be drawn with only a ruler and pencil in hand. You have to feel the forms!
Alfa will gladly remind all passers-by of his name, written on the inside of the headlights.
Under the front bumper, a carbon fiber splitter juts out gracefully, capable of extending at speed and increasing downforce. Has anyone else seen this?
And the downforce for this car is oh so necessary! After all, under the fully carbon-fiber hood (!) Is not just an engine …
… And made on the basis of Ferrari technologies biturbo V6 with a volume of 2.9 liters and a power of 510 hp, capable of catapulting this beauty to a hundred in 3.9 seconds!
And so that Julia also brakes properly, they are also equipped with carbon-ceramic brakes. Isn't it a Ferrari?
There is probably not a single body part that would not speak for itself - I AM POWERFUL! And the seemingly harmless at first glance, the four-leafed clover hides a monster that can accelerate to 307 km / h in one breath!
Even the rapids were not deprived of attention. From under them, juicy, like a jam leaked from a bun, stick out the carbon blades of the sills.
Design is in everything! And even the window line, so as not to induce despondency and boredom, was curved not for the sake of ease of fit, but only for the sake of beauty!
The exhaust system of the Quadrifolio is, if not a work of automotive art, then a clear reference to the latest Ferrari models.
Dakteil? Already from the factory!
Moreover, a duck tail with a variegated geometry. Needless to say that this is not only effective, but also effective ?!
Even the model writing font was given due attention!
Well, sitting inside you will be embraced by buckets with high-quality leather and an embossed coat of arms on the headrest. Premium!
The steering wheel was not spared. Here and evil sports tides, and leather with Alcantara, and even carbon inserts, the essence of which is nothing more than beauty, although why not! After all, brothers with the letter F have this all the time! Well, how do you like the engine start button on the steering wheel? Who else in this segment is able to bring so much entourage from just starting the engine?
Carbon elements are the decoration of both the exterior and the interior.
Sheer arrows and markings up to 300+ km / h will surprise no one today, but in the case of Alpha, this is a continuation of the history of a small and affordable Ferrari, which means that such scales are a must!
If I tell you that this is a photograph of the interior of a Ferrari, will you believe me? I think so, because the style is really preserved! I hope the materials won't let you down either. By the way, pay attention to the fact that one line of the line is white, and the other is green! Cool however)
The nozzles of jet engines also nestled behind, for the sake of the comfort of passengers … unless, of course, they are not afraid to get into the car, the owner who is clearly obsessed with Alphas and fast driving! : D
And even saying goodbye to the car should not be common. The door handles are framed with carbon fiber, and in an absolutely inexplicable way for me they look harmonious and sophisticated! What's the matter? How do they do it? Maybe Shcheglov, before drawing and sculpting his Alligator, should have visited Italy at least once?
PS The lap time of the Nurburgring is 7:39! In everyday language - I stuffed the competitors with tomatoes! In the best traditions of Ferrari;)
