Even for me, an avid car enthusiast, it is really difficult to answer without looking at the images of its predecessor, what has changed with the restyling? And has anything changed at all? How interesting is this model in general in Russia, so that we bother remembering some design features of the next Lexus?

In this version, most Russians would prefer to take the much more affordable, popular and liquid sister of the Lexus ES - Toyota Camry, or the more recent and interesting Lexus GS, and I think they will be right. In my understanding, to buy a Japanese premium sedan from 2 to 3 million rubles, you have to be either a fan of them or a pensioner, although they have not stopped making Volvo for the latter (just kidding).
As an excuse, we can say that the Japanese themselves do not pin their hopes on Russia, and initially the car was intended for the American market, and I think there are definitely no problems with its implementation.
Most likely in its next generation, when the ES finally acquires a new design trend in the style of NX and RX, and finally loses the puffiness and excess weight inherent in all Americans, the world will see a premium sedan that is quite competitive by European standards, but there is one catch … where then to do with GS?
