I think most readers always have a "favorite" at every auto show or event. The car that attracts your eye more than anyone else, that you want to approach again and again. This year, for me, that was the 1961 Impala in the rare Bubbletop body. She came to St. Petersburg from the capital of our country as part of the Mad Buckets team. The Bubbletop body differs from the standard by the absence of a center pillar and the presence of a huge rear window, which makes the car visually much more elegant. I finish the text for this - flip through the photos and thank you for your attention, and at the end you will find a small bonus.
Bonus Promised: Photo of Louis Unzer driving his Impala Bubbletop during the Pikes Peak race in the USA, 1961.
I would be glad to receive comments and ratings.
