A large number of different oils from well-known and little-known manufacturers are on the shelves of retail outlets, and it is difficult to understand them even for a specialist, not to mention an ordinary motorist. In short, we can advise you to buy oils only from well-known companies that have proven themselves in the market from the best side and are recommended by the technical documentation for your car, but due to the fact that many fakes have appeared, it is better to buy oil in specialized stores. Changing the oil in the engine and other parts of the car is also carried out according to the rules of the mentioned documentation, which gives precise recommendations on the number of mileage after which it is necessary to change the oil in certain parts of the car.

The engine oil is changed in a certain sequence:

1. Warm up the engine to warm up the oil.
2. The car is driven onto a flyover or a pit for the possibility of draining used oil.



3. Shutting off the engine, fill it with an additive that cleans the oil system.
4. Starting the engine at idle, let it run for fifteen to twenty minutes.
5. Turn off the engine and drain the oil through the drain plug, then screw the drain plug back into place, replacing the sealing copper washer if possible.
6. Changing the engine oil also includes changing the oil filter. Before installing it, you must fill it with new oil.
7. After carrying out all these actions, it is necessary to fill in fresh oil at the rate specified in the technical documentation for the car.

As you can see, changing the engine oil is a simple procedure.

Changing gear oil is also not as difficult as it might seem to an inexperienced car enthusiast. For the bulk of cars, it needs to be changed every 35,000 runs or three years of car operation. But it is worth clarifying in the technical documentation for your car. It is also necessary to change it if it has changed color to black, coffee, or silver dust has appeared in it. Changing the oil in the gearbox and in the gearbox is simple, and it is advisable to do it at the same time. Consider changing the oil in the gearbox, for this:

1. Drive at least five kilometers to warm up the oil in the car's components.
2. Drive a car into a pit or overpass.
3. Unscrewing the drain plug and filler plug, drain the old oil.
4. If the oil was dirty, then wash the gearbox housing with a mixtureengine oil and diesel fuel (70% / 30%), for which we pour the mixture into the gearbox, jack up the rear wheels and let the engine run for five minutes in first gear, remove the jacks and drain the mixture.
5. After draining the oil (mixture), screw the oil drain plug back in place.
6. Using a syringe with a polyethylene tube, we pump in new oil until it starts to flow out of the filler hole.

In the gearbox, the oil is changed in a similar way.
