Car brake pads can be considered consumables, as their resource of use is limited. The more often you apply pressure on the brakes, the closer the day when the replacement of the brake discs becomes inevitable. we loosen the wheel bolts, put a jack under the car, raise the car and, having twisted all the bolts, remove the wheel. We clean the suspension with an iron brush from adhering dirt. After the car is prepared, you can start dismantling. But before starting to do this, it is worth noting: it is much more convenient to replace the pads with the wheel previously set correctly, which means that if work takes place on the left wheel, you should unscrew the steering wheel to the right until it stops - and, conversely, when working on the right wheel. Having done this, we disassemble the caliper. disassemblethe caliper is not difficult, since it rests on just one bolt located at the very bottom. We unscrew this bolt and put it on a clean surface so as not to get dirty with sand. Raise the caliper and carefully remove the old pads.

We try not to damage the overlay, because during installation it will need to be returned to its place. There is also a squeaker (record) on the brake pads, which is needed for this

to make a grinding sound when the pad fails. We remove it too, but you don’t need to be especially careful with it, because it will be replaced with a new one. Next comes the most difficult operation. The following situation may arise: if you put new pads, then the caliper will not be able to sit in place. Based on this, we press the piston of the cylinder inward. You need to press on two pistons at the same time, otherwise, pressing on one (which will go easily), the next one will be squeezed out. You can press with a wrench or a key, but it is more effective to do this with your fingers. Sometimes it may be necessary to bore the brake discs. After the pistons are drowned, we mount new pads, while not forgetting to put a lining. Next, we put the new tweeter in the old place and close the caliper. Before fixing with a bolt, it is necessary to straighten and align the boot to prevent dust from getting on the mount. Now we screw in the bolt and tighten it tightly.

After the replacement of the pads described above will be done on other brake discs, put the wheels in place. That's all.
