How to make a flyover
In order to construct such an important structure for repair on your own, you must first acquire the necessary products: special bridges, supports for them. You will also need bricks, sleepers, cement. It's no secret that a flyover is a structure that can be of various types.
First consider a portable overpass. It is not difficult to build it - you need to find unnecessary (possibly old) bridges for the overpass (you need two pieces). In height, these supports should be about 50 cm. The length of the bridge, as a rule, is equal to a meter (or a little more). They will need two. The length of the second should be 40 cm. This method is perfect for organizing a flyover - a practical and durable structure that is very easy to disassemble if necessary. Observation pit - an alternative to overpass
This is a standard, well-known way to organize flyovers for car repairs. They make a hole, the size of which approximately corresponds to the dimensions of the car (they also take into account the additional distance in width so that the working conditions are comfortable). To put it simply: the length of the pit depends entirely on the dimensions of the machine. Its walls and bottom must be covered with concrete mortar. This provides protection from moisture and dirt. You can use modern waterproofing materials - this will also help to avoid problems during operation.
Before constructing a viewing hole, you should definitely check how the groundwater is located, where they lie. If they still exist, it is better to abandon the construction of the pit - there are plenty of practical overpass structures without it. It is imperative to remember about strengthening the walls of the pit - otherwise shedding can always occur. To make access to the pit convenient for inspecting the bottom of the car, a ladder should be built. When work is not being done, everything is covered with slate (or some other material).
Car repair with brick structure
Such a flyover is a construction, for the manufacture of which the most ordinary bricks are used. They are connected into an arc-shaped single installation, the width and length of which must correspond to the parameters of the car. Then cement what happened. There is one minus here that needs to be taken into account - after some time, the cement may begin to crumble. This phenomenon is best prevented in time. However, this flyover for a car is quite appropriate somewhere in the garden or on the territory of a summer cottage - anyway, you can’t usually find a better solution there. In the courtyard of the house, you can build something else, the brick option is unlikely to be appropriate.
Construction of a flyover from sleepers
We considered the simplest options above. It's time to describe a serious tool - a flyover of sleepers. This design is highly durable. For its construction, only one thing is needed - railway sleepers. Before construction, this material is necessarily impregnated with creosote - a special substance that is necessary to prevent various negative phenomena: the appearance of fungi, the development of decay processes. Thanks to the impregnation, the car overpass will last much longer.
So, in order to build, you need to have several sleepers. They are usually laid out on some kind of hill, prepared in advance, or made directly from the elements. It is important that the size of the sleepers is about 500 cm long and at least 260 cm wide. Several people should participate in the construction at once - individual elements are quite heavy. Whole structure weightthere will be much more - it will not work to lift it alone.

It all depends on the ability to withstand the load, on the overall dimensions of the structure.
