The new ZIL-4112R limousine received a more spacious trunk after the spare wheel was moved from the luggage compartment to a special niche under the floor. After the decision was made to increase the diameter of the wheels from 16 inches to 18, the designers were faced with the problem of supplying tires of the right size. Tires for Kremlin limousines of the brand "Granit" in Russia were produced by only one plant, the Moscow Tire. The factory equipment was not designed for the parameters of the ZIL-4112R wheels. I had to find a supplier. As a result, the new limousine will be equipped with American-made tires used on Dodge RAM jeeps.

The characteristics of suspensions, brakes, shock absorbers ZIL-41047 fully satisfied the engineers of CJSC Depo-ZIL.
