Before its assembly, the internal cavity is thoroughly cleaned and covered with oil-resistant paint. Then, an oil-retaining ring is mounted on the drive shaft, and a bearing is mounted on the shaft. Then a glass and a spacer are put on, after which - the second bearing. You also need to install a multi-blade washer and bushing. Then a key must be laid in the driven shaft, after which the spacer sleeve and bearings are installed. Then the assembled shafts are placed in the base of the gear housing, a cover is put on it, which must first be coated with alcohol varnish. The next step is to put grease in the bearing chambers and put the bearing caps and metal gaskets for adjustment. Then you need to install the covers, then check the rotation of the shafts and make sure that the bearings do not jam. Everything is fixed with screws. The oil drain plug is screwed in next. Then you need to pour oil into the housing and wrap the control plug. This is how a single-stage bevel gearbox is assembled.
