The 9th generation Japanese car "Evolution Lancer" has become popular with motorists over its entire period of existence, not only because of its numerous victories in rally races, but also due to its beautiful sporty appearance. According to the manufacturer, this generation was developed taking into account numerous improvements, as a result of which the novelty has become the most reliable among the entire line of Lancers. Judging by the results of domestic test drives, their design, as well as the design of the side support rollers, does not cause objections at all. However, if the motorist is going on a long trip, the Evolution Lancer's driver's seat can tire him out, which cannot be said about the rear row of seats.

The design of the steering wheel and aluminum pedals looks very harmonious, which, combined with high-quality trim materials, gives a positive impression of the cabin.

The 9th generation Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is equipped with a four-cylinder gasoline engine with a capacity of 280 horsepower. According to minders, this unit was not designed from scratch. As a basis, they took the engine from the 8th generation car, forcing it to the desired power. As far as transmissions are concerned,the buyer could choose either a five- or six-speed “mechanics”. The manufacturer did not provide automatic transmissions, since true sports cars are supplied only with mechanical transmissions. Perhaps the engineers were on the right track, since this combination of a 280-horsepower engine and a manual transmission developed the car to “hundreds” in just 5.7 seconds.

The maximum that such a motor could produce was a speed of 250 kilometers per hour. Despite such indicators of dynamics, everything is in order with the “appetite” of the Evolution Lancer. For a hundred kilometers, the car spends no more than 10.6 liters of gasoline.
