The theme of sportiness continues noticeably in the interior. A new 3-spoke steering wheel, an instrument panel in which each gauge is recessed in its own well, and expensive finishing materials, designed in titanium and chrome, create the feeling that the driver will have to drive something really powerful. But still, there are some disadvantages here, and they should be noted.
The first drawback is the panel board: despite the fact that all the arrow readings on it are easy to read, the liquid crystal display, located on top of the center console, has clearly not been improved by the Japanese (its backlight is so weak that all readings are clearly visible only in Night time). The second negative is the seats. They are, as on all sports cars, quite rigid and quickly cause driver fatigue. In addition, when making sharp turns, you have to hold on to the steering wheel strongly (lateral support is not able to keep a person in the chair).

In addition to the aggressive design, the novelty is distinguished by its improved technical characteristics. Under the hood of the tenth generation Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is a sixteen-valve 2-liter gasoline unit with a capacity of 280 horsepower. It is equipped with one single transmission - "mechanics" for 5 speeds. Such a box is able to accelerate the car to “hundreds” in just 5.4 seconds. The peak speed of the new car stops at around 242 kilometers per hour.
