It is worth noting that even the most severe climate is not terrible for this model, which puts it in a good light relative to eminent competitors. "Kirovets" K-9000 belongs to the 9th class (it all depends on the modification) and has all-wheel drive.

Variants

There are 5 tractor options. All versions contain the abbreviation "K" and 4 digits of the model number in their name. The first means class. The number 9 indicates that the design consists of a frame, parts of which are articulated, and an all-wheel drive. The remaining figures indicate the power of the tractor.

Options:

• K-9000 - the basic model, which became the basis for all the others;
• K-9360 features a 354 horsepower motor;
• K-9400 was equipped with a Mercedes engine with a capacity of 401 units;
• K-9450 has 455 horsepower;
• K-9520 is the most powerful version.

All tractors of this line received 516 hp Daimler AG engines. were available in twoversions - with a volume of 12 and 12.8 liters. Both copies were highly reliable and at the same time were quite economical. The Petersburg Tractor Plant is engaged in production. It was here that the new Kirovets K-9000 rolled off the assembly line.

Technical data

K-9000 is much larger than all its predecessors. Its width was 2875 mm, while the length was 7350 mm, and the height was 3720 mm. The base model is equipped with a Mercedes-Benz OM 457 LA power plant. The maximum torque is already reached at 1800 rpm, and the power is 354 horsepower. Fuel consumption averages 150 g/hp. per hour of work. The tank holds 1030 liters of diesel fuel. A wide range of speeds (from 3.6 to 30 km / h) allows the tractor to quickly cope with any task.

Power component

Depending on the version, several types of engines can be installed in the K-9000. All of them are German-made from the Mercedes company. Among all the copies, you can find the most suitable one, because the choice starts with 11.97 liters and ends with the option with a volume of 15.93 liters.

Regardless of the volume, all units are equipped with intercooling of the air that is blown into the cylinders. Such motors are proof of German reliability, which allows them to be used in the most severe climatic conditions.

Performance

The tractor with the K-9000 index has its advantages and disadvantages, which manifest themselves depending onfrom the tasks assigned to him. The power unit, developed according to advanced technologies, is not the only parameter that Kirovets can boast of. All models have excellent working data.

Most of the changes in the new tractor touched its frame, which received a margin of safety twice as much as that of its predecessors. The engineers did not forget about the leading axles either. The presence of large-diameter wheels with wide tires increased the permeability and reduced the specific pressure on the soil. Twin wheels are available under certain conditions.

The gears of the drive axles have also been improved. Now they have become reinforced, with a significantly improved accuracy class. The gearbox, produced at the same plant, has also undergone modernization. The most powerful engines are paired with a hydromechanical gearbox, which is able to provide the most efficient operation. The transmission of the tractor "Kirovets" K-9000 allows you to realize the full potential due to the presence of 8 reverse gears and 16 for moving forward.

Ergonomics

For convenient and comfortable work of the operator, a new cabin was created in compliance with all modern requirements for safety standards. A large glass area, massive mirrors and the presence of a video camera of the working body provide excellent visibility, so the operator can easily perform all the necessary tasks.

Kirovets K-9000 is one of the most expensive models on the domestic market. This is offset by high performance and reliability. The price was also affected by the use of foreign-made nodes. On average, you can buy a tractor for 6.5-9 million rubles, it all depends on the amount of additional equipment and modernization.

Advantages and disadvantages

The main advantage of technology is high performance, reliability and durability. This makes the tractor an excellent investment vehicle. At the same time, the high cost in the maximum configuration can scare away many farmers. There are practically no analogues of this model. The predecessor of the K-744 is able to compete, but in a number of parameters it loses to the K-9000. KhTZ models lose in terms of their power, but are capable of carrying out similar tasks.
