ZAZ Sens, a passenger car, a cheaper version of the South Korean Daewoo Lanos, is produced by the Zaporozhye Automobile Building Plant in two versions: a sedan and a hatchback. In addition to the new name, the car acquired an improved engine of the Melitopol plant of the MeMZ 317 brand with a capacity of 77 hp. Transmission

ZAZ Sens, whose technical characteristics are generally at a good level, is a front-wheel drive car with a transverse engine. The clutch is single-disk, friction, dry, the clutch release drive is hydraulic, the force from the pedal to the release fork is transmitted from the master cylinder through a high-pressure flexible pipeline. The clutch sends power to the manual transmission, which in turn drives the separate front wheel drives.

Transmission two-shaft, 5-speed. For cars with an engine displacement of 1.4 liters, a Daewoo gearbox is installed, and for cars with a 1.3-liter engine, a gearbox from the ZAZ-1103 and ZAZ-1102, Slavuta and Tavria Nova models. Anti-corrosion protection

In order for the body to be durable, anti-corrosion protection is used for ZAZ Sens. Body parts are produced by cold forming, then they are coated with a protective coating, zinc-nickel MG 30/30 and zinc GA4S/45. Zinc-nickel protective layer is used to cover parts that are in direct contact with an external aggressive environment, and zinc protection is used for parts that have indirect contact. The bottom of the car and the thresholds are protected by zinc from the outside. Trunk lid, outside doors and hood are treated with MG layer,and hidden parts of the body, spars and inner lining of the engine compartment are covered by GA4S. 83 body parts are subjected to zinc-nickel processing, the rest are covered with a paint-and-lacquer layer.

Package

ZAZ Sens, whose photos are presented on the page, is produced in the basic configuration, the minimum for a model of this class. The car belongs to the category of economy class cars, and its equipment cannot be exclusive. Therefore, the model is equipped with only the most necessary: an audio system, rear window heating and seat belts. The improved SE modification involves the installation of hydraulic boosters, an on-board computer, and a GPS system.

ZAZ Sens, reviews of which are generally good, is distinguished by low operating costs, inexpensive spare parts, economy, endurance and a significant resource.
