"Nissan Almera" is a golf-class car, characterized by high reliability, unpretentiousness, affordability and a wide range of advantages. It replaced the outdated Nissan Sunny. The car was first presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1995. It was offered in three- and five-door hatchback versions, and a four-door sedan was released a year later.
The European division of Nissan worked on the design of the car. The car had a modest, attractive appearance with a raised midsection, an impressive C-pillar and a high roof.

According to the "passport" data, the average fuel consumption of this engine in the combined cycle is 8.5 liters. At the same time, it complies with Euro-4 environmental standards. The novelty is available with two transmission options: 5-speed manual transmission and 4-speed automatic transmission. Experts recommend using the latest gearbox.

Given the specifics of Russian roads, the chassis of the car was additionally reinforced with more durable suspension elements designed for increased loads. Front mountedindependent MacPherson struts, rear torsion beam. The suspension settings of the novelty are close to rally ones, which is explained by the same poor quality and uneven roads.
Among the minuses of the novelty, narrow wheels (185/65) can be confidently noted, but a good suspension compensates for this shortcoming, and bumps are practically not noticeable in the cabin. The steering is not extremely sharp, but it is quite enough for a comfortable and confident ride. Front-mounted disc brakes and rear-mounted drums are the braking system that the new Nissan Almera has received.
A photo of the car will make it clear even to a simple person that the model has outstanding off-road qualities. First of all, this convinces high ground clearance. When fully loaded, it "sags" only up to 145 mm, so you should not worry about getting stuck on a country road. And if you also remember about the additional protection of the chassis, then all doubts completely disappear. The novelty was tested in various road conditions, including on the motocross track, where it performed remarkably.
Packages and prices
Four vehicle configurations are available in Russia, and given that the average provides for two options, then five at all.
The new Nissan Almera already in the basic configuration includes a manual transmission, an on-board computer, rear window heating, trunk lighting, R15 steel wheels, fabric upholstery, two airbags, ABS and EBD auxiliary electronic systems, seat belts with preloaders, special mountings forchild seats and more. The official cost of the model in 2014 is 459,000 rubles.
The new Nissan Almera of the Comfort package is supplemented with heated front seats, the ability to adjust the driver's seat in height, central locking, front fog lights, advanced audio preparation, and the option to automatically close the door when driving. Its cost starts at 477,000 rubles, the version with air conditioning will cost 500,000 rubles, and with automatic transmission - 532,000 rubles.
The extended version of Comfort plus is additionally equipped with a 2DIN audio system with MP3 and Bluetooth support. With a manual transmission, it is offered for 523,000 rubles and 555,000 rubles for an automatic transmission for Nissan Almera.
The new Tekhna equipment additionally includes a leather steering wheel, power windows on the rear doors, glove compartment lighting, and a special Nissan Connect media system. Its cost on the Russian market starts at 554,000 rubles, and with an automatic gearbox - from 586,000 rubles.
