Lexus IS 300 - luxury or calculation?

At one time, TOYOTA created a division whose goal was to produce expensive, prestigious luxury cars. The idea of their creation was not new, at that time the elite car market niche was not free - it was firmly occupied by such masters of the automotive industry as BMW, ROVER, Jaguar and Mercedes. This did not bother the Japanese: so in 1983 the decision of the board of directors of the corporation was made - "We challenge the best cars in the world." At that time, the company was quite firmly on its feet, known as a manufacturer of high-quality and inexpensive cars. Their popularity no longer needed to be proven to anyone. But they could not be called prestigious, so Toyota decided to conquer the newly chosen Olympus under a different brand, which Lexus became. It took five years for the idea to be fully realized. During this time, a large group of engineers and designers was created, who were given the task of developing a car that has superiority over the best European brands and at the same time is cheaper.

After numerous tests and trials, in 1988 the first Lexus was introduced astrademark to the general public in the US. After all, it was for the American market that the first LS400 was released. Lexus quickly gained worldwide recognition and almost every year the manufacturer introduced a new model, more advanced and updated. In January 2000, the Lexus IS 300 model is shown in Los Angeles, equipped with the latest technology and has retained its popularity to this day. This model is ahead of all competitors in this class of vehicles. The history of the car continues successfully, not limited to the American market for which it was originally created.

Now Lexus is also sold in Japan, although Europe has become the main sales market, this explains the offer of the Lexus IS 300, the characteristics of which are as follows: equipped with a 3-liter turbocharged diesel six-cylinder engine with a capacity of 218 hp, as well as five-speed hydromechanical automatic transmission. The basic package includes a suspension with 17 radius wheels, cruise control, an immobilizer, security alarm and traction control systems, a Lexus IS 300 six-disc radio tape recorder equipped with all modern gadgets, climate control (some trim levels have a navigation system) and many other functions that provide the comfort level of a luxury car.

It is impossible not to notice the traditional Japanese love for detail - almost every detail is thought out in the cabin. In the Lexus IS 300, you can read the instrument panel in any light, all keys to switchmanual gears are in perfect reach for the driver. The shape of the seats perfectly supports the body when cornering. The clarity of the car's response to the driver's command, the dynamics, the smoothness of the ride - all this contributes to the greatest driving pleasure. The Lexus IS 300 has a lower price than the cars of the same class from competing manufacturers. It is consistent with the quality inherent in all Lexus models, which makes them desirable on all continents.

The quantity, and most importantly, the quality of models produced at Toyota factories under the Lexus brand, is always pleasing. The buyer can always find in these cars exactly what he needs. And, therefore, my conclusion is this: we, ordinary people, can only be happy for the people (and some may even envy a little) who wisely chose the Lexus car brand, and in particular the Lexus IS 300. We wish them good luck on the roads and only positive emotions from driving.
