GAZelle "Farmer" is an excellent version of a truck that combines the carrying capacity of an ordinary GAZelle (1.5 tons) and the capacity of a minivan. Judging by its name, it is not difficult to guess who it is intended for. But in practice, it turns out to be completely different: this truck is more popular not with farmers, but with repair teams. After all, what other car can simultaneously deliver to the place of work all the staff and all the necessary materials, as well as equipment for work? GAZ 33023 "Farmer" is characterized by a relatively low price and availability of spare parts.
Release
Serial production of new items started back in 1995. In its appearance, it did not differ much from the onboard GAZelle 3302. At the moment, the production of these vehicles at the Gorky Automobile Plant has not been stopped. During its long period of existence, the novelty has undergone many changes. In 2003, the second generation of GAZ 33023 (Gazelle "Farmer") was developed. It differed from its predecessor in the design of the cabin, namely, rounded headlights and a new shape of the side mirrors (inthe people she received the nickname "big-eyed" Gazelle). In 2010, an updated series of light truck models was launched, called GAZelle "Business".
Cab Specifications
The main feature of the GAZ 33023 is a double cab that can accommodate six passengers. It consists of two rows of seats: on the first there are two passenger seats, on the second - as many as four. Unlike model 3302, the novelty has a high cabin. Its equipment is the same as that of the GAZ 2705 minibus. A comfortable atmosphere is immediately felt in the cab. And indeed, because the cabin of the "Farmer" is almost 2 times larger than that of other GAZelles. And if the car is used in the transportation of interregional and international cargo, the rear row of seats can be easily converted into a berth (you get a long-range version of the cab).
Interior
Seats, instrument panel, dashboard, upholstery and windshield of the GAZ 33023 are no different from their progenitor - model 3302. All control parts are in the same place as their predecessor.
Dimensions
Gorky small-tonnage vehicle has rather compact dimensions: length - 5.5 meters, height - 2.1 meters (in the cabin), width - 2.4 meters (including the length of the rear-view mirrors). At the same time, the volume of the cargo compartment is up to 6 cubic meters - 3 cubic meters less than that of the 3302 model. But the engineers of the Gorky Automobile Industry found an excellent solution to increase the cargo space by lengthening the frame. Thus, the length of the van increased by1 meter, and the total volume is from 9 to 14 cubic meters (depending on the height of the installed awning).
Cost
The cost of a new Gazelle "Farmer" will vary from 450 to 480 thousand rubles. The price directly depends on the brand of the engine (buyers are given a choice of 2 units - a gasoline UMZ 4216 and a diesel engine from Chrysler). An extended version of the GAZelle will cost a little more - from 470 to 500 thousand rubles. For this money, you will get a maneuverable and unpretentious car that will serve you for many years.
