All VAZ models of Zhiguli cars, later Lada, were known not only in the USSR, but also abroad. A version such as 2107 until 2014 was produced in Egypt. At home, the cars were perceived as prestigious, the owners were satisfied with the purchased units.

Serial species in the past

The first memorable model of "Zhiguli" was called "penny". This name was given according to the number 2101. The new VAZ passenger car had an original design for that time. Round headlights are loved by many car enthusiasts.

Version 2102 had good capacity. Carriers of vegetables, spare parts and other goods began to buy these machines. Demand was supported by low cost and low maintenance.

All VAZ models (2103, 2104, 2105) were among the leaders for a long time. The best-selling "six" came to replace it, which for a while became a symbol of aggressiveness. The fifth version was replaced by model 2107, which can still be found on the secondary market today.

New versions on sale

All VAZ models that are in demand began to be sold under the LADA emblem. Modern improvements occurred due to the cooperation of the plant with companiesRenault, Chevrolet and Nissan. The attractive brands XRAY and Vesta, which have a design that is not inferior to Western and Asian developments, are new.

Cars recognized as people's:

• Granta, or VAZ-2190 - created by manufacturers to replace the classic "seven" and "five". The calculation was made for lovers of cars of economy options. However, the latest price increase has led to a rise in the price of the model. As a result, the loss of buyer interest when the market is dominated by better models of Korean and Chinese origin.
• Kalina, or VAZ-117, 1118, 1119. The hatchback is in demand to this day due to its fashionable rounded interior and exterior shapes. Separate interior and exterior elements were made by German manufacturers.
• Priora, or VAZ-2170, has a high set of additional equipment. Connoisseurs choose a 106-horsepower engine to feel the charm of driving a domestic car.

The versions have increased cross-country ability:

• Lada 4x4 is a joint development of the well-known Niva with Chevrolet.
• Largus was the brainchild of Renault and VAZ (Lada). The models have the same internal interior design and the similarity of individual body parts with Logan and Sandero cars.
• Lada 4x4 Urban is an exact copy of the classic Niva.

Unreleased factory versions

Not all VAZ models received mass production. There are also thosewhich were made only for the museum. These include the Lada Roadster. The car was based on the 2108 drop-top version, but only 500 units were produced. They were not sold in Russia.

"Lada Silhouette" was preparing to replace the 2116 model, but serial production of cars is still planned. An extended version of the Lada-2110 was a kind of limousine, the interior decoration had a pleasant appearance and comfort. These cars are classified as business class superior.

"Lada S" did not pass the payback test and was discontinued. An analogue of the Oka car was introduced by VAZ in 2002. Model 2151 was called Lada "Classic", based on the first and second series of "Lada". But the sale of the car never happened.
