What does the law say about this?

It was from this period that all drivers of scooters, mopeds, and so on were able to obtain the appropriate document, of course, after passing the training.

So, now consider the question of what rights are needed for a scooter. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that corresponding amendments have also been made to the SDA. Based on the fact that a moped and similar machines are mechanical means, the driver must have a license with him.
Moped is primarily a two-wheeled or three-wheeled vehicle of a mechanical nature. Its speed should not exceed 50 km per hour. The engine of this unit is with internal combustion and a volume that a priori does not exceed 50 cubic meters. see. To such mopeds, the law also adds quadricycles with similar characteristics.
Based on this, the law states what rights are needed for a scooter. Categories of rights to drive a moped
To the question of whether it is possible to drive a scooter with category "C", we answer accurately and clearly. The legislation of our country implies the management of such funds in category "M". Nevertheless, federal law has prepared the loyal application of other categories in such cases. For example, if a driver has a driver's license with category "B" or "C", then he has every right to drive a scooter or a moped.
Article 25, paragraph 7, clearly states that the driver, upon obtaining one or another category of rights from the current list, has the right to drive category "M" vehicles. When driving without category "M", driving is not a traffic violation.
But it is worth noting that if two letters – “ML” are indicated in the “M” category column, then driving scooters and mopeds is strictly prohibited. A mark of this nature indicates that the driver has a medical limitation.
