Light motorcycles with a 125cc engine are the most common form of transport among young people. The first impression of the "octopus", as the bike is affectionately called, is that there is a bicycle under you. But as soon as you turn the throttle, a feeling of power and speed immediately appears. The maneuverability of the motorcycle is fantastic, it is able to slip into the narrowest gap between cars without slowing down. Professional pizza delivery people prefer to use just such a vehicle in a metropolitan area.
Chinese assembly
Motorcycles 125 cubes, photos of which are posted in our article, are produced by many companies. The Japanese manufacturers Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki are also here. German represented by Sachs Madass. There are English pit bikes manufactured by Bantam. However, when buying, it should be borne in mind that 99 percent of motorcycles, no matter which company they belong to, are assembled in the People's Republic of China. Of course, this does not detract from their technical merits, since at Chinese assembly plants, visibly or invisibly, brand representatives are present and monitor the build quality.
Controllers act rather harshly, since the quality complaint is addressed to the manufacturer, and not to the assemblers on Chinese territory. Each case of defective products is carefully analyzed and pen alties are imposed on the fact of dishonest work, which are sometimes expressed in five-digit figures. Therefore, claims from consumers happen infrequently, Chinese workers are trying to fulfill their duties with maximum responsibility. Judging by the fact that there are practically no negative reviews for their work, the Chinese labor market will continue to develop, making both the workers themselves and their country richer.
Cost
Lightweight motorcycles have gained popularity for their reliability and relatively low price. The big name of the manufacturer initially attracts the buyer, and when he is still pleasantly surprised by the cost of the car, any doubts disappear. This is what happens with the Japanese bike Yamaha YBR 125, which has recently become a bestseller in the Russian market. At a cost of 58 thousand rubles, the client receives a motorcycle with an economical four-stroke engine equipped with an electric starter, cast wheels and a front ventilated disc brake.
However, in the first place in terms of cheapness among light road motorcycles is the Belarusian enterprise JSC "Motovelo", which produces "Minsk". Modification "Sputnik" costs 23 thousand rubles. Motorcycle from the same model range undernostalgic name "Pioneer", sold for almost the same price. The more advanced model "Leader", in accordance with the name, leads in price, its cost is 35 thousand rubles.
Russian products
Motorcycles of 125 cubic meters are also produced at Russian enterprises. This is a plant in Kovrov, its products have been known since Soviet times. The older generation remembers "Kovrovets" with a two-stroke engine, a reliable and fast motorcycle. At present, the plant produces the Lifan model, which costs 40,500 rubles. The IzhMash enterprise, which produces light motorcycles of the Forsage Meteor brand, worth 55,500 rubles, does not lag behind the Kovrov plant.
Chinese models
Motorcycles of 125 cubic meters of foreign production are more expensive. The international model Zongshen LZX150 is estimated by sellers at 72 thousand rubles. A motorcycle of mixed European production Jawa Dandy is sold for 100,000 rubles. Whether a car is worth that kind of money can be determined by its technical characteristics: perforated disc brakes on both wheels. Economical 4-stroke engine. Wheel size, sportbike - 17 inches. Double seat. But it should be noted that the motorcycle is assembled in China. However, given that domestic Chinese models are already ahead of European products in some respects, we can conclude that assembly in China is gradually becoming a positive factor.
Chinese motorcycles 125cc
China not only collects, everything that can beassembled from imported parts, domestic experts have already developed a number of their own projects in the field of motorcycle construction. There are several dozen models on the market that successfully compete with Western counterparts. Chinese products are taking the lead with low retail prices and high quality.
Motorcycles 125cc, made in China, already gaining popularity:

- SYM XS 125.
- Kayo CRF801.
- Stels 130 City Rider.
125cc motocross bikes
Motorcycle competitions are held all over the world, these are road-ring races and cross-country. The last type of competition involves the participation of specially prepared cars, with an engine capacity of 125 cubic centimeters. The difference between a motocross bike and a regular bike is the absence of baffles in the muffler, which gives a characteristic thunderous sound, as well as the presence of an ultra-long-travel suspension, thanks to which the rider, standing on the footpegs, is in a sort of suspended state, and he is not threatened by the return from deep roughness of the distance.
125cc motocross bikes lack many of the gadgets and parts commonly found on road bikes. The racing car does not have a headlight, a speedometer, or any other instruments. The engine, brakes, clutch and throttle are all that an athlete needs to control a motocross bike. But the chassis of the bike is significantly reinforced and designed for multiple loads.
Competition
Sports and cross-country motorcycles of 125 cubic meters, the price of which reaches three hundred thousand rubles, are considered the most prestigious in their class. Sports bikes with a small cubic capacity of the engine are produced by almost all well-known companies. This market is subject to relentless competition. The strongest and most successful manufacturer is determined by competitions regularly held in different countries. Together with the winning rider, they raise (sometimes conditionally, and sometimes really) the winning motorcycle to the pedestal.
However, the winner will not be able to "rest on his laurels", in the next competitions he must confirm his superiority. Therefore, between competitions, each company tries to improve its car in order to start in the best shape.
