It must be remembered that manufacturers recommend making the distance between the large star and the outer part of the frame 2 mm. The lower this mechanism is lowered, the better the shifting will become, which does not require additional adjustment.
Tuning the front derailleur will correct any mismatches. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the curvature of the frame coincides with the curvature of the large star, and if it is less than the calculated switch, this gives a normal switch. Therefore, we can assume that the setting of the front derailleur is correct. However, an adjustment may be required in cases where the back of the frame is higher.
To do this, it is necessary to achieve an exact match between the curvature of the frame and the sprocket, to which the switch must be placed very close, ensuring reliable chain control. Thus, the limiter will not give him low gears and will eliminate the chain reset from the small sprocket of the system.
Adjusting the front derailleur allows the high limiter to be adjusted in such a way as to achieve such a position in which the chain in the highest gear will rub against the frame from the outside of it. In this way, it will not be necessary to frequently adjust at the time of the reverse gear change.
