ZIL-433362 is an updated family of classic trucks of the middle class. Trucks were mass-produced from 2003 to 2016. The assembly was carried out at the Likhachev plant in Moscow. This model is a multifunctional chassis. Various equipment was installed on it. In particular, these are road service vehicles KDM ZIL-433362 and AGP cranes.

External Features

The ZIL-4331 model, which has been mass-produced since 1987, was taken as the basis. The design of the ZIL-433362 KO-520 sewer cab has not changed. It still uses a narrow square grille, pronounced fenders and a metal bumper.

By the way, the optics have been changed from square to round. Also in the upper part of the hood there was a cutout for air intake. The windshield is stalinite with three frame-type wipers. Side mirrors of an increased area, taken out from the cab on metal meadows. On the roof atthe KO-520 vacuum truck has a yellow flashing beacon. But on modifications with a crane (ZIL-433362 AGP), this is not the case. The rest of the cabin was identical to the ZIL 4331 model.

Ground clearance, dimensions

The chassis of the ZIL-433362 KO-520 vacuum truck is unified with the ZIL-4331. So, the length of the car is 6.62 meters, width - 2.42 meters, height - 2.81 meters. The car has a good margin of clearance. The distance from the lower suspension point to the asph alt is 23 centimeters.

Cab

The interior design is rather austere. The cabin has much in common with the GAZ model 3307. So, a flat instrument panel with round dials, a thin two-spoke steering wheel and flat door cards are also used here. The pedals in the truck are made of metal and are located high relative to the floor. This causes some inconvenience in management. Cabin is designed for two people.

The car lacks air conditioning, ABS and other modern systems. The cabin in the truck has not changed since 1987. The gearshift lever is located in the floor and is stuck directly into the box. But even with this design, drivers have difficulty engaging the desired speed. The switching scheme is fuzzy, and this is a drawback of all ZILs of that time.

Specifications

Under the hood of the car is a gasoline V-shaped engine of its own production (ZIL-508.1). The unit is equipped with a two-chamber carburetor and has a working volume of 6 liters. The maximum engine power is 150 horsepower. Deformed unit - degreecompression is 7 atmospheres. This allows the car to run on gasoline with the lowest octane rating (up to A-72). The maximum torque is 402 Nm. The volume of the tank is 170 liters. The driving range of the car is from 400 to 700 kilometers. Depending on the operating mode, fuel consumption is from 25 to 33 liters per 100 kilometers.

But since the ZIL-433362 KO-520 is used mainly in the city, the figure rarely drops below 30 liters. High consumption is the main disadvantage of the model. In this regard, last year it was decided to stop the serial production of this car.

Transmission

ZIL-433362 KO-520 is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Unlike the 130th ZIL and its modifications, this transmission is equipped with synchronizers. True, they are not available on all transmissions. Synchronizers are missing in first and reverse speeds.

Tank characteristics

The ZIL-433362 truck is equipped with a KO-520 vacuum tank, which is why it has such a marking. This vacuum machine is used in public utilities. The tank is intended for removal of sewage and cleaning of cesspools. In addition to the tank itself, the ZIL-433362 KO-520 uses a vacuum pump with additional electrical equipment. So, at one time the car is able to pump out up to five thousand liters of sewage.

The tank at the disposal site is emptied by gravity. However, it is also possible to usevacuum pump in "reverse" mode to generate additional pressure. The machine is capable of pumping out sewage at a depth of up to four meters. Periodically, it is recommended to wash the inside of the tank from impurities that are aggressive to metal surfaces.

Cost

At the moment the car is only available in the secondary market. The cost of a vacuum machine is about 500 thousand rubles (750 thousand for the 2016 model). More expensive - modifications with an auto-hydraulic lift (ZIL AGP). Their cost is about 900 thousand rubles. But simple vans and tilt modifications cost about 90-180 thousand.
