Every driver at least once faced with the problem of tire repair. Thanks to modern technology, almost any tire can be restored today. Tire repair can be divided into two groups: complex and simple. The latter deals with tire punctures. Complex refers to side cuts and so-called "hernias" on the surface.

Such tire repair is impossible without special equipment and compliance with certain technologies. On your own in your garage, you will not do anything to a cut tire. Therefore, if you need to repair the side cuts of tires, immediately contact the tire service. Well, if you "picked up" a nail, then pulling it out will not be difficult. You can remove a screw, a piece of wire or a fragment if you have certain tools that are in almost every trunk. Well, if the nail damaged the camera, it is better to send it for vulcanization. This process will not take much time, and even the poorest driver can afford it. Of course, you can vulcanize the tire yourself, but be prepared to spend several hours of personal time on this.

In the near future, wheels withthe camera will go into distant history. And all because tubeless has a number of advantages, which include travel safety. Tubeless tire repairs are best left to the experts. Although there are special sealants in auto shops, thanks to which you can even repair a punctured tire on the road. This method is called temporary (simplified) repair. After it, it is imperative to remove the tire from the rim and make the final restoration. Unfortunately, sealants are unable to 100 percent repair a puncture. They are intended for those who are on the road, away from the nearest tire shop. After all, when using sealant, you will not need wrenches or even a jack.

Tire repair and their method depends on the type, as well as the location of the tire damage. The latter have a common structure consisting of a carcass (the main strength element on which the strength of the tire depends), as well as several layers of the court (special threads attached to the bead rings).

Puncture is a minor damage with a possible loss of pressure and tightness of the tire. A cut is a major damage to the tire with a break in the threads of the court and a complete loss of tightness. Often, cuts occur when hitting broken glass, sharp metal objects, and even careless hitting a curb.

Also, a slight swelling may occur on the surface of the rubber (popularly, this phenomenon is called a "hernia"). The reason for this may be the delamination of the outer layer of the tire from the cord (restoreoriginal properties and characteristics are no longer possible). Also, a "hernia" is formed due to the rupture of the threads in the frame (it is almost impossible to determine the exact location of the damage). In this case, it will be more profitable to buy a new tire than to repair tires. And if you do not replace it in time, then at the most inopportune moment, the old rubber may burst.
