Honda's newest car, the 2013 Crosstour crossover, has finally arrived with a redesigned design and improved options.
The Crosstour holds a special place not only in Honda's lineup, but in the mid-size SUV class as a whole. This is a unique bright car with the parameters of an SUV. It has excellent handling, a smooth ride and a unique fashionable design that leaves no one indifferent.
Sales of the updated Crosstour began in the United States, where the car appeared in November 2012. In May 2013 restyled
five-door hit the Ukrainian market.
Effective appearance, comfort of the highest level, the ability to move on the road surface of different quality makes Honda a great choice. The Crosstour crossover is used both for everyday trips and for recreation outside the city. As a rule, this car is used for long trips with family or friends.
Crosstour-2013is the first improved model since its introduction to the market in 2009. How magnificent this model of Honda cars is - a crossover, the price of which ranges from 1,599,000 to 1,999,000 rubles. At the moment, two versions of the SUV are available: the usual all-wheel drive equipment with an engine capacity of 3.5 liters and a front-wheel drive version with a capacity of 2.4 liters. This petrol 4-cylinder engine develops up to 194 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque. The conventional all-wheel drive version is equipped with a 3.5-liter SOHC i-VTEC V-6 engine from the Earth Dreams genus.
The Real Time 4WD all-wheel drive system in ordinary conditions works like a conventional front-wheel drive. But if traction is lost, then the rear pair is automatically connected here. Ground clearance is 200 mm. It allows you to easily park in urban areas, overcome snowdrifts, curbs and easily move off-road.
The new "Honda" is a crossover that has retained a unique design. Sophistication and sporty militancy are given to the car by curly bumpers and blotches of chrome. Interior Crosstour-2013 has changed completely. It now comes with a new, sleek center console where the main functions of the car are controlled via the I-Mid display. In addition, all three collections received an upgraded interior trim and an improved steering wheel. The rear headrests have also been redesigned to improve rear view visibility. No street sounds are heard in the cabin: there wasimproved sound insulation in this model "Honda". Crosstour-2013 is equipped with a large number of advanced driver assistance systems.
The LaneWatch system has improved security. It consists of a camera that allows you to track "blind" areas. Of course, the car also received such common Honda safety systems as Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE), ABS, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), side and front airbags.
But how does Honda drive off-road - a crossover, the photos of which will stun every motorist? After all, they depict a powerful and reliable car. SUV careers are not insurmountable obstacles. Wherever necessary, the car goes, it does not slip on the sand, it rises up the hill.
In the US, the CR-V is considered a car for modest housewives or young families. In Russia, its cost is twice as high. And representative people with an income of 100,000 rubles or more go on it. If the SUV was not supplied from the UK or America, but from Japan itself, then its cost would be sky-high. After all, the yen is now too expensive.
