One of the most difficult tasks is to convert a bright youth hatchback into a family car. This was very successful for the Opel Astra designers. And if we take into account the state of Russian roads, then such a passenger can only sympathize with the first significant bump. But in justification of this model, we can say that the landing behind the wheel is very convenient, there will be no problems. The seats in this sedan are very comfortable, they have a pillow adjustable in length and developed lateral support.

Also, the interior of the Opel Astra 2012 pleasantly pleases not only with its modern design, but also with the high quality of the materials used in the decoration. To use the multifunctional console, you must first memorize the location and meaning of the numerous buttons. The creators of this model are convinced that assigning each function to a separate button is much more convenient and less distracting for the driver while driving, so you will have to work very hard to find the button you need.

The current model has taken the place of a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine. Its power is 140 horsepower. It has a six-speed automatic transmission, which, in combination with the engine, allows the car to pick up speed fairly quickly.

But even here there is a significant minus. The fact is thatwhen braking, the Opel Astra car is not so pliable, and for this you have to make considerable efforts. But you also have to get used to pressing the brake pedal to the “golden mean”, as the first time you get braking either too hard or not enough.

The steering wheel in the presented sedan is similar to the steering wheel of the Chevrolet Cruze, that is, it has a similar “airiness”, when driving in a straight line, you always need to steer a little.

Even in the Opel Astra 2012 line, an engine (gasoline) with a volume of 1.6 liters is produced. Its power corresponds to 180 horsepower (torque - 230 Nm). This type has the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in about 9 seconds.
