Third generation

The new "Skoda Octavia" was released in 2012, which was a significant event for all fans of the Czech brand.

An updated version of the Octavia was presented in a liftback body. Despite the fact that the modification belonged to the golf class, it was unique in its own way, going beyond its category in many respects. The liftback was equipped with the same wide range of power units as the Skoda Octavia station wagon, withrobotic and manual gearboxes. In the economical configuration, the model was equipped only with a mechanical transmission. For modifications of the new Skoda Octavia, the suspension is made in the form of a beam, with the exception of the version with a 1.8 TSI engine. In technical terms, all cars of the Octavia lineup are practically the same, since the main difference lies precisely in the type of body and overall design.

The owners of the Skoda Octavia note in their reviews that models with increased ground clearance and reinforced suspension are produced for the Russian market.
