The Wrangler SUV owes its appearance to the Second World War. It was at this time that the legendary Willys MB all-terrain vehicle was designed. All SUVs of this family are united by a frame structure with continuous axles, a demultiplier and a front-wheel drive.

Differences of the tuned version

The main goal of tuning is to increase the cross-country ability of an SUV. Installing wheels of a larger diameter is one of the modernization options aimed at reducing the pressure of the car on the soil and making it easier to overcome snowyor sandy roads. The main difference lies in the increase in the geometric cross-country ability of the SUV.

Installing wheels with a larger radius entails the need to change the size of the arches. Accordingly, the SUV will have to be lifted or lifted.

The Wrangler is equipped with spring suspension as standard. Lifting a car with such a suspension consists in replacing shock absorbers and springs with longer analogues. At the same time, traction brackets and levers are changed. Jeep Wrangler tuning is carried out using springs, the length of which exceeds the standard length by 130 millimeters, and chrome-force pipes that replace factory parts.

Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon

Ste alth Study designed this versionSUV specifically for the auto show in Paris in 2014. After the tuning, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon got a turbodiesel engine with a capacity of 200 horsepower and a volume of 2.8 liters. The exterior has been modified with accessories from Mopar. The design looks complete thanks to 37-inch tires and 17-inch wheels. Interestingly, no less popular is the toy version of the SUV, which survived a similar tuning - SCX10 II 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

Tuning from CES

CES, a wheel manufacturer, created this version of the Wrangler. The modified version gets a turbo kit, suspension lift, Smittybuilt accessories for a matte green bodywork, and 20-inch Toyo Open Country M/T wheels. The company's specialists paid considerable attention to the interior of the car.

Jeep Wrangler by Forgiato

The Forgiato Massa-T24x14 large-diameter wheeled car in high-gloss green is one of the brightest and most unusual Jeep Wrangler tuning options. The car, in addition to the impressive size of the wheels and striking design, got a winch, a power bumper, a suspension lift kit, an expeditionary trunk and additional lighting.

Jeep Wrangler Sahara by Vilner

On account of the Bulgarian tuning studio Vilner has its own upgraded version of the Wrangler. The radiator grille, door handles and exterior mirrors of the model became chrome-plated, 20-inch wheels replaced the standard 17-inch ones. Engine power - 261 horsepower, torque increased to 558 Nm thanks to the ECU tweak.

The specialists of the studio did not bypass the interior of the car: it is trimmed with natural red and black leather.

Hauk Design Version

Bold and bright tuned Wrangler with amazing cross-country ability by Hauk Design, presented in two versions at once - River Raider and Rock Raider.

The "river" version received a two-door layout, a snorkel, a cargo compartment and an additional light placed on the power arc.

Second version, Rock Raider, equipped with 40-inch wheelsToyo, power body kit, underbody protection, winch and LED lighting. The car stands out in the stream thanks to the bright orange body color.

Standard engine has been replaced during the Jeep Wrangler tuning with a V8 Hemi borrowed from the Dodge Challenger SRT8. Motor power is 425 horsepower, torque - 570 Nm. The atelier offers a choice of three engines: a 636-horsepower 7.2-liter engine, a 6.4-liter Hemi and a top-end version with 850 horsepower.

Jeep Wrangler Red Rock Concept

Tuned version by Jeep. The automaker built a concept all-terrain vehicle specifically for the 2015 SEMA tuning show. The circulation of the car was limited to 50 copies.

Different from the standard version of Red Rock is an updated transfer case and an electronic differential lock. The company's specialists did not lose sight of the suspension, significantly modifying it.

The winch, ventilated hood, BFG K02 tires, 17-inch wheels and a power kit attract attention from the design features. The body of the SUV is painted red with Red Rock lettering on the sides.

The seats are upholstered in leather with red contrasting stitching, and the absence of doors and the frame without a roof will not leave anyone indifferent.

Jeep Wrangler Blue Crash

Tuning SUV from Mopar. For the 70th anniversary of the Jeep brand, not only this modernized Wrangler was released, but also five more cars. It is worth noting that as part of the Jeep Easter Safari, Moparannually releases several concepts based on Jeep models.

Extreme Blue Crash is equipped with a V8 Hemi engine with 540 horsepower. The suspension has been modified, with 39-inch wheels installed instead of the base wheels. The SUV largely copies the style of American rock crawlers.

Jeep Wrangler Stitch

Designers and engineers of the tuning studio, when creating this version, tried to reduce its weight as much as possible. To achieve this goal, almost all technical units, interior and exterior have been changed. The rear seats, heater, sound system and air conditioning have been removed, but 2013 Viper SRT buckets have been installed up front.

The stock hood has been replaced with a carbon fiber one, while the fuel tank, levers, roll cage and underbody parts have been replaced with aluminum.

The rims are also aluminum and the tires are Mickey Thompson brand. DynaTrac Pro Rock 44 axles are equipped with front and rear ARB air locks.

The SUV design is complemented by a yellow center panel, lightweight body panels, LED headlights.

Jeep Wrangler Nautic

The SUV concept was created specifically for the Paris Yacht Show. Nautic combines the comfort and elegance of luxury yachts. The Wrangler stands out not only in its white body color, but also in its chrome-plated grille, wood-look trims on the trunk and running boards, and luxurious genuine leather interior trim.

The luggage compartment is also made in the style of the yacht floor. Doorknobs,rear-view mirrors, wheel rims and fuel tank cap are chrome-plated. The fenders of the car and the protective cover of the spare wheel are trimmed with snow-white leather.

A tuned version of Nautic was released in two colors: white and black.
