The excavator is equipped with a highly efficient heater that copes with its direct function even in severe frosts, as well as air conditioning in case of hot summer.

Expense

The amount of energy consumed by the excavator is directly affected by the operating conditions of the EKG 10, as well as the type of work performed by it. For example, using such special equipment exclusively for the extraction and crushing of ore weighing 2 tons, the excavator will spendapproximately 2.9 kWh.

Device

The design of the excavator consists of:

  • turntable;
  • undercarriage;
  • bucket;
  • an arrow equipped with a pressure device;
  • rack mounted on two supports;
  • handles.

The turntable is mounted on a frame with bridges on the sides. At the rear is a counterweight block. Also hosted on the platform:

  • transformer;
  • turn reducers;
  • compressor;
  • winches;
  • guiding mechanism.

A boom winch is fixed just below the platform. Mechanisms and systems not installed on the platform are covered with quick-release protective panels.

EKG 10 can be completed at the request of the customer, for example, with a hydraulic hammer or a bucket with a large volume. And also easily upgraded to the 8US model, which differs in equipment and has a small bucket, with a volume of 8 m3.

The photo shows the excavator EKG 10, which impresses with its dimensions. But despite the seeming clumsiness, this metal giant has such advantages as:

  • comfortable and spacious cab;
  • adjustable electric drive for main units and assemblies;
  • automatic lubrication to work units;
  • adjustable track tension;
  • individual drive for tracks for low-support travelexcavator;
  • high level of dynamic stability due to compressor and hydraulic cylinders;
  • force stabilization (when lifting the bucket with a load) occurs automatically;
  • most parts are made of high strength steel;
  • efficient braking system (pneumatic);
  • high performance;
  • bucket bottom not in contact with handle;
  • Repairability of caterpillar elements.

With quite a long list of advantages, this excavator has only one drawback. It takes a lot of time to transport such special equipment over long distances.

Pricing policy

EKG 10 is an expensive treat that a fairly large enterprise can afford. The price of a new unit varies between 13-16 million rubles. The cost directly depends on the configuration. A used excavator in excellent technical condition can be purchased for 4-5 million rubles, while you will receive a model released at the end of the last century. For a more “fresh” car, you will have to pay about 9-10 million. Rent is also not cheap. 6 hours of working time costs about 50 thousand rubles.

Despite its high cost, the excavator is in demand, as it quickly justifies the investment.
