Car Suzuki Cappuccino after its birth in a short period of time has become a real favorite of its owners in all corners of the world. This model with a very interesting name is a small car with a small engine, the target audience of which are middle-class consumers. Along with this, the car boasts great design and a fairly wide range of opportunities on the track.
Model history
This Suzuki car was produced between 1991 and 1997. In October 1992, it was shown to the general public during the English International Exhibition. The model is a sports car with a convertible top and two doors. For all the time, a little more than 28 thousand units of the car have been produced. According to unofficial information, the model was developed in order to save insurance taxes. After the last copy left the assembly line, the manufacturing company sold the remaining cars for some time.
Basicspecifications
Despite its modest dimensions, the model is a fairly powerful rear-wheel drive sports car. Initially, under its hood, the developers installed a 64-horsepower power unit with a volume of 0.7 liters. It consisted of three cylinders arranged longitudinally and was called the F6A. Some time later, Japanese designers replaced the belt drive with a chain in the engine, thereby modernizing the Suzuki Cappuccino car itself. The technical characteristics of the new engine (K6A) made it possible to accelerate the car to the mark of 150 km / h. Both front and rear use a double wishbone spring suspension. As for the gearbox, the model was equipped exclusively with a four-speed manual transmission.
Appearance
Sporty spirit Suzuki Cappuccino is present not only in the technical characteristics of the car, but also in its exterior. A special role in the exterior is played by a removable hard top, consisting of three panels. If necessary, they can be removed and placed in the trunk. In the exterior of the model, elegant rounded headlights, stylish air intakes, as well as an elongated hood catch the eye. All this makes the car attractive in our time. Its dimensions in length, width and height, respectively, are 3295x1395x1185 mm. As for the clearance, it is 135 mm.
Interior
Speaking of the interior of the Suzuki Cappuccino, first of all, it is necessary to note the high level of comfort. Despite the rather modest external dimensions, there is enough legroom and overhead here to eventhe tall man felt comfortable. The seats are made of leather and have good support. The driver's seat can be adjusted in almost any way. The salon is upholstered with quite high-quality and pleasant to the touch materials. Luggage shelves are provided inside, but they are high, so the contents can fall out of them during heavy braking.
Conclusion
Despite the fact that the production of the Suzuki Cappuccino ended many years ago, the car continues to enjoy great popularity. The car won the love of consumers due to relatively low operating costs, reliability, good technical characteristics and good build quality. In this regard, it is not surprising that individual copies of this car can now be found on domestic roads.
