The famous German crossover Tuareg Volkswagen was first born in 2002. Design
The appearance of the new crossoverreminded his fans of the unified corporate style of Volkswagen, thanks to which the car somewhat resembled its younger brothers - the Golf and Polo models. But, despite this, it is rather difficult to confuse a novelty with a passenger car, and all thanks to the well-coordinated work of designers led by W alter de Silvo. Unlike its predecessor, the updated SUV has acquired a new headlight unit, a new bumper and the shape of a false radiator grille. All this as a whole gave the new product more harmony, smartness and athleticism. Also, the car achieved such characteristics due to the increased dimensions of the body - it grew by 41 millimeters in length, another 12 millimeters increased in height, and the novelty became 38 millimeters thicker in width. At the same time, the design of the car remained quite recognizable.
Interior
The interior of the novelty has experienced, though unobtrusive, but very important changes. The interior of the Tuareg Volkswagen began to look more luxurious and solid, and changes are clearly visible in ergonomics and improved quality of finishing materials. By the way, thanks to small changes in dimensions, the interior of the car has become even more spacious, and the volume of the trunk has increased to 580 liters.

For buyers, the manufacturer has provided for the creation of a completely new line of engines. Now those who wish can purchase both gasoline and diesel options. Opens the ruler280-horsepower gasoline unit, the working volume of which is 3.6 liters. This is where the line of injection engines ends (the company mainly focused on the development of diesel units).
