Therefore, it is recommended to make a complete fluid change every 80-100 thousand kilometers. This is the maximum resource of additives that are contained in brake fluids. Accordingly, you need to carry out pumping with a complete replacement.
What you need to pump the system
In order to bleed the brakes on the VAZ-2107, you need to get a set of tools. First of all, you need to decide where you will carry out repairs. It is best to do it in a pit, overpass or lift. On a flat surface it is possible, butit will be a little more difficult. Therefore, it is recommended to find an overpass.
You will need this set of tools:
- Wrenches for "8" and "10".
- Special "8" wrench for brake pipes.
- May need a jack.
- Capacity transparent about 0.5 liters in volume.
- Flexible transparent hose.
- Filling liquid.
Before changing the fluid, the brake system should be thoroughly checked and worn components replaced if necessary.
How to upgrade with a partner?

The essence of the procedure is simple:
- You seat an assistant in the driver's seat and explain to him what his task is. And it is not very difficult - you need to press the brake pedal all the way at your command. And at your own command, fix the pedal to the floor.
- Fill liquid into the tank to the brim.
- Tear off the fitting with a special key.
- Put a transparent hose on the brake bleeder on the rear right wheel. Its other end must be lowered into a jar with a small amount of brake fluid.
- Command the assistant to press the pedal 4-5 times and fix it. At this point, you unscrew the fitting 0.5-1 turn and watch how the liquid comes out. Only shestopped, you tighten the choke, and the partner makes a few more strokes.
- Carry out the manipulations from the previous step until the air stops flowing through the tube. Top up the expansion tank in time.
Similar manipulations must be carried out on the other brake mechanisms of the car.
And if without an assistant?
You can bleed the brakes on the VAZ-2107 without an assistant, but for this you will have to slightly modify the design of the expansion tank cap. You need to buy a new cover, in which you install a fitting from a conventional camera. Now you need to create pressure in the system - this can be done using a chamber or a tubeless wheel. Inflate with a compressor, perform the following actions:
- Fill the expansion tank with brake fluid.
- Install a cover with a fitting on it.
- Connect the fitting on the cover and the chamber with a tube.
- In this case, it is not necessary to install spools inside - they will be superfluous.
- Following the brake bleeding sequence described above, carry out repairs.
Do not forget to add liquid to the system, otherwise an air lock will appear in it. You will have to re-bleed the brakes. The VAZ-2107 uses the RosDot-3 or RosDot-4 brand of liquid. Try to use only fluids recommended by the manufacturer.
