In 1995, the Ford Econoline began to be offered with other engines under the hood. There are new motors of the Triton family. The V-shaped “ten” was considered the best. It was the first such engine in the world. Its volume was 6.8 liters, and the power reached 268 “horses”. A minibus with such a unit under the hood accelerated to hundreds in less than ten seconds! True, the maximum speed was only 160 km / h.
