The novelty is offered with five different engines. Of these, three are petrol and two diesel. Engines running on diesel fuel have the same 2-liter volume, but different power. There is a motor for 151 and 185 hp. And gasoline units are offered with capacities of 150, 182 and 223 “horses”, respectively. By the way, the 150-horsepower engine is the most modest in volume - 1.5 liters. For the rest, it is 2 liters. Interestingly, this Skoda model has two versions - both withfront and rear wheel drive.

The appearance of this Skoda model is similar to that of the Octavia. But the main feature of the novelty is that now a Russian-assembled motor is installed under its hood. The engine has a volume of 1.6 liters, producing 90 and 110 hp. They were replaced by a 75-horsepower 1.2-liter engine, since there is no longer demand for it. There is also a model with a turbo engine, with a capacity of 125 "horses". It is controlled by a 7-speed "robot".
They install the MacPherson suspension on the model, but the Russian versions decided to complete with reinforced shock absorbers and springs. Thanks to this, it was possible to increase the clearance.
If you want to buy this car, it is best to make a choice in favor of the maximum configuration. The difference in price will not be significant, since the car already belongs to the economy class in terms of cost. But the list of equipment will please. The maximum configuration has everything - ABS, ESC, immobilizer, numerous airbags, heat-insulating glazing and much more. There is even a cosmetic mirror in the cabin and an ice scraper.
Fabia
