Description

Kirovskiy Zavod is a diversified holding, one of the most important areas of which is the design and production of Kirovets wheeled energy-saturated tractors. This is the responsibility of a division of CJSC "Petersburg TZ".

The company is one of the pioneers of domestic engineering. The first serial licensed Fordson-Putilovets tractors were produced in 1924. However, Kirovtsy branded K-700 tractors have been produced since 1962.

Lineup

The modern model range includes agricultural, construction and municipal and special equipment of the K-744 R series of various designs with a capacity of 300, 306, 350, 354, 390, 401, 420, 428 hp. With. The most powerful are the Kirovets K-9000 tractors: the K-9520 modification boasts 516horsepower. Unlike Soviet times, vehicles have a modular layout with a wide range of engines made in Russia, Germany, the USA, a wide range of attachments, additional options.

The most popular of the products of the St. Petersburg Tractor Plant in the domestic market is the Kirovets K-744 R2 tractor. It has the optimal ratio of technical characteristics for the average farm, utilities and construction organizations.

A new level of comfort

In the new models, manufacturers have made the workplace of the machine operator convenient, comfortable and safe. During busy periods of field work, the cabin becomes almost the home of a tractor driver, where he spends 10-12 hours a day. Modern materials and technical solutions applied by St. Petersburg designers help to protect a person from noise and vibrations. The pressurized cabin is installed on shock-absorbing cushions, the metal of the cabin is covered with modern vibration-absorbing and soundproof materials.

Field work often takes place during literally hot periods - often the ambient temperature outside the tractor reaches +40 °С. And it happens the other way around, when in a frosty winter only the Kirovets tractor can clear snow blockages or carry a heavy load. Therefore, the factory workers install a powerful air conditioner and an efficient heating system on all machines of the K-744 R series.

Management

Tractors "Kirovtsy" are controlled very easily - without physical effort. The ergonomics of the workplace respondsmodern requirements. The sprung operator seat is located in the center of the cab, offering excellent visibility in all directions, which is very important for field work and maneuvering.

To facilitate transmission control, a system of pneumatic mode switching and rear axle connection is installed (option available on request). The driver's seat has a wide range of adjustments - in height, longitudinal position, operator weight. The steering column is also adjustable in height and tilt. This allows the operator of any size to find the optimal driving position for himself. The assistant mechanic or instructor will be accommodated in the cab in an additional passenger seat. Like the driver's seat, the passenger seat is equipped with seat belts.

The machine operator easily controls the parameters of the tractor using a set of instruments and control lamps on the central panel. All vehicles of the K-774 R series are prepared for the installation of GPS/GLONASS satellite monitoring systems.

Safety

Tractor "Kirovets" from the point of view of safety is protected in all respects. It is a stable machine with an efficient braking system and reliable handling. But even if a tragic accident occurs and the tractor overturns, a person will be reliably protected by a safety cage built into the cab that meets international ROPS/FOPS standards.

Engine Specifications

Equipped with a turbocharged diesel engine, namely, Kirovtsev engines belong to this type, they are characterized by excellent efficient and economic indicators. An important feature of the power units used is high torque at rated power.

Since 2014, Kirovtsy tractors have been equipped with new air filters of an improved design to improve reliability and increase the life of engines. Thanks to the two-stage combined air cleaning system and the high air intake, the engines are reliably protected in very dusty conditions. Replaceable filter elements are easily accessible for purging and replacement.

Reliable cooling is fundamentally important for tractor engines operating under heavy load. Since 2014, the most powerful modifications have been equipped with a new radiator block with an enlarged water section.

Fuel system

The fuel systems of domestic diesel engines are mechanical. They are quite simple in design and well adapted to our fuel. For Mercedes-Benz engines equipped with more modern electronically controlled fuel supply systems, additional filters are included in the system, and injectors are adapted to Russian fuel by German specialists.

To start engines at low temperatures, pre-heating systems are used, so the operation of Kirovets tractors in winter is not particularly difficult. 800 liters of fuel can be stored in the fuel tank located on the rear frame - this is a good fuel supply for the longest working shift.

Draft

Tractors "Kirovtsy" are often operated in difficult conditions. Serious loads are transferred to all elements of the transmission and chassis. That is why there are special requirements for them. The gearbox of the "Petersburg giant" is mechanical, with hydraulic control. Its speed range (16 gears forward / 8 reverse) consists of4 ranges with 4 gears each. Rideability

The Kirovets tractor has unsurpassed cross-country ability. The photo of this "strongman" is impressive in size, power, and at the same time modern design. With its considerable dimensions, it is distinguished by good maneuverability, which is facilitated by the innovative design of its frame - two half-frames are connected by a hinged device. They are able to rotate around the vertical hinge at an angle of 35 °, thanks to which the turning radius is less than 8 meters (on the outer wheel). Relative to the horizontal hinge, the semi-frames are displaced by 16 ° - "Kirovets" perfectly copies the soil relief, due to this, all the wheels are constantly engaged with the supporting surface.

Each machine operator who has worked on the Kirovets necessarily notes its special smoothness. The spring suspension of the under-engine bridge is what gives suchwonderful effect. For many foreign analogues, a sprung axle is not available or is an expensive option, but for a St. Petersburg tractor this is basic equipment.

Aggregation

Increase traction and reduce ground load with optional wheel doubling kits. The use of dual wheels is required on waterlogged soils. It is possible to optimize the weight distribution of the tractor and improve the grip of the wheels with the soil with the help of stacked ballast weights placed on the cargo and under-engine semi-frames. The value of a tractor lies in the possibility of its use with a complex of machines. Hitch standards, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic requirements and other trailer parameters may vary. The equipment coupled with machines is being improved, the most important criterion is the versatility of coupling devices and the reserve of hydraulic performance.

The hydraulic system of Kirovets tractor equipment is of the “load-sensitive” type, it can be referred to as LS-system or Load Sensing. Axial piston pump with automatic flow control pumps the working fluid only when the attachment is working. Its peak performance is 180 l/min.

Hinged three-point device (category IV) produces a load capacity of 8.5 tons on the suspension axis. It is noteworthy that it is initially included in the standardcomplete set. To simplify the aggregation with any domestic and foreign agricultural implements, tractors are equipped with automatic lower link hooks manufactured by W alterscheid.

Additional options

On a separate order, the Kirovtsy tractors can be equipped with a linkage position control system (EHR), which is necessary for working with plows and other mounted implements that do not have support adjusting wheels.
