There are several well-known Chinese car manufacturers. And among them is the Lifan company. A crossover is a type of car that is now gaining popularity, and very actively. And the leaders of Lifan, apparently, decided that it was time for their company to start producing SUVs too.

X60

The Chinese crossover “Lifan X60” is the first SUV produced by this company. His debut took place in 2011, in Shanghai. What is the most attractive thing about this car? It's price. It started from just 499,000 rubles. This amount piqued the interest of many. Most motorists, of course, suspected something was wrong - it is unlikely that high quality will be offered for such a price. But since this car has become popular (at least in its homeland), then it has advantages.

Chinese developers decided to make the design according to the type that distinguishes Toyota RAV 4. And they added a few of their highlights to the look. Basically describeappearance is not needed, as the photo provided above shows everything.

Salon is moderately comfortable. The driver and all four passengers can accommodate comfortably - there is plenty of space. True, the seat intended for the motorist does not have proper lateral support. But the seat can be adjusted in different directions.

The dashboard is not informative, just like the quality of the finish is high. But there is an audio system, heating and ventilation.

This “Lifan” is a crossover offered in four trim levels. The first is basic. Such a crossover has roof rails, steel wheels, power steering, light sensors, power windows, as well as EBD and ABS. Plus, two frontal airbags, CA, power mirrors and a radio. In principle, the equipment is not so poor.

This is a relatively new Lifan. The crossover was presented in China in April last, 2015. And this is the updated X60. The appearance has been slightly changed, new equipment has been included in the options list and, most interestingly, a model with an “automatic” has been added.

Dimensions remain the same. Of the external changes - a new radiator grille with vertically arranged slats. Style added to the interior - now the interior looks much more practical and ergonomic. It is better, of course, to buy a top-end model, since it is in this version that a multimedia display will flaunt at the very top of the center console. According to the technical characteristics - all the same "Lifan".

The crossover is new, the price is accordingly. The basic equipment will cost 655,000 rubles. And the maximum is 730,000 rubles. In addition to the notorious display, the list of options includes a rear-view camera, 16-inch alloy wheels, a multifunction steering wheel and a power sunroof.

Latest newyears

The rather popular Lifan crossovers were listed above. Prices for them, in principle, can be considered acceptable. But here comes the novelty - Lifan X80! And its cost fluctuates around 1,500,000 rubles. This is already a lot of money for a Chinese SUV. And, presumably, the quality should be appropriate.

This model has the appearance of a flagship, with a radiator grille with chrome horizontals, in the middle of which a large emblem flaunts.

The interior is attractive - a lot of chrome parts have appeared in the interior. In general, everything looks quite stylish and modern. The multimedia display looks especially interesting, which is neatly hidden under the visor. The console is wide, the instruments are easy to read, the steering wheel is comfortable - the Chinese manufacturer has clearly reached a new level. The impression is enhanced by a set of options. The driver will be pleased with a multimedia complex with a touch screen, a multifunctional steering wheel, air conditioning, heated seats, power accessories and an advanced security system.

What's under the hood?

It is known that the brand new SUV will have two versions (in technical terms). So, the first modification will boast a 2.4-liter engine that produces 165 horsepower. By the way, specialists from Mitsubishi were engaged in the production of this unit. And the second option is a car with a Lifan engine with a volume of two liters and a power of about 200 horsepower. These numbers are really encouraging. And thisexplains the rather high price of new items. By the way, on the version with a 2.4-liter engine, there can be both “mechanics” and “automatic”. It is also worth noting that X80 will be produced in two versions. A potential buyer can choose a version with either 5 or 7 seats.

X50

Another "Lifan"-crossover, which is worth noting attention. It appeared in 2014, and it appeared on our market only in the past, 2015. The manufacturer characterized this car as a youth crossover with a European design. However, in reality, this is a hatchback raised above the ground, with off-road accents. Although it looks good. In many ways - thanks to stylish optics.

The interior looks fresh, but not for everybody. The designers decided to place the devices in deep “wells”, leaving the central place to the tachometer. Pleased with a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, on which you can see the control buttons for the MP3 system. Finishing materials - mostly plastic, diluted with silver inserts designed to imitate metal.

Space, of course, this SUV will not please. Only two people can comfortably accommodate in the back, the third will seem superfluous.

X50 “Lifan” is a crossover that cannot please with powerful characteristics. It offers only one engine option. This is a gasoline “four”, the volume of which is 1.5 liters. It produces only 103 horsepower. And it is driven by a 5-speed manual gearbox. True, a variator is still offered. If you takemodel with manual transmission, it will be possible to disperse it to the mark of 170 kilometers per hour. In this case, the consumption will be about 6.3 liters per 100 km (in the combined cycle). In the case of the continuously variable variant, the maximum will be limited to 160 km/h. But here the consumption will increase to 6.5 liters (in the combined cycle).

The basic version costs about half a million rubles. The model in the maximum configuration will cost 550,000 rubles. But the list of options will include the ESP system, a multimedia complex with a color screen, GPS, a rear-view camera, leather interior, power accessories, 6 pillows and much more. True, for the variator you will need to pay extra 40,000 rubles.

Finally, it’s worth talking a little about what Lifan crossovers receive reviews from customers. So, the most popular model among Russians is the X60. He will be the first example.

If you need a budget car that looks like an SUV, this car will be the right choice. A simple and reliable SUV with high ground clearance, unpretentious fuel and very economical. The owners are especially pleased with the service - spare parts are very cheap. Drivers also claim that the car is suitable for Russia, since it starts without problems at minus 20.

There are also a lot of reviews about the X50. Although it cannot be called a crossover with absolute certainty, it has good dynamics. And it's easy to manage. Great car for city and highway. Plus, the price is reasonable.

In fairness, it should be noted that Lifan crossovers have a lotnegative reviews. However, many simply cannot compare price and quality. For half a million rubles, which a person gives for a new car that has barely left the assembly line, it is illogical to demand the characteristics inherent in cars for several million. Lifan is a crossover designed for economical city driving, and it is considered an ideal model for people who need a car just to ride.
