Vogele has a history of more than 150 years. The company overcame many obstacles until it found its true calling. Until 1926, they were engaged in the production of equipment for the railway industry. After some time, we switched to the production of asph alt pavers.
The stacker belongs to the category of complex machines and requires high qualifications from engineers and developers. The machines perform typical tasks related to the laying of asph alt concrete mix and its leveling. One unit is capable of replacing a whole range of working equipment. All a paver needs is a timely delivery of the work material.
Vogele is the leader in road construction machines
After the first successful sample, the company's specialists thought about improving their skills. In 1950, a model with a ready-mix asph alt hopper was developed, in the same year the machine left the Vogele assembly line. The paver was something of a breakthrough in road construction at the time.
In today's marketVogele takes first place among the equipment of this class. The company does nothing else, except for the creation and improvement of asph alt paving machines, as well as additional equipment for them. The emergence of mobile feeders, where the mixture is fed continuously, is caused by the need to automate the process. There is not yet a single enterprise that could compete with Vogele. The paver created by engineers, paired with a mobile feeder, forms a whole complex that can work autonomously.
Vogele Super 1603-1
Under the model number 1603-1, the company has produced a unit for universal use. It is suitable for paving asph alt pavement on streets, sidewalks, residential areas, as well as on highways and multi-lane highways.
Working equipment can be supplied in several versions. As a rule, the model with a screed equipped with electric heating and a vibrating beam-type device for tamping is considered the most popular among road construction enterprises. Additionally, it is possible to install special strips to improve the seal. Together with the stove, the client is supplied with a separate set of extensions up to 6.5 meters in size. Model 1603-1 allows widening up to 8 meters. All attachments can bepurchased separately from official Vogele representatives. The paver is equipped with a bunker that can hold about 13 tons of finished mix. Sidewalls are folded using hydraulic cylinders to ensure full material consumption.
Vogele Super 1800-2
The 1800-2 tracked paver is used for larger jobs than the 1600-2 version. There are possible applications in small areas, as well as for the construction of bicycle paths. Thanks to the tracked undercarriage, the machine has the best stability among the entire Vogele range. The paver is easy to maintain and operate, and is renowned for its reliability and economy with high productivity. It can even be used as a stand-alone facility without additional workers.
The maximum width of the paving surface can be up to 9 meters. At the same time, the thickness of the layer varies from 3 to 30 cm. The width of the machine in the transport position is 2.55 m, thanks to which it can be transported using a trailer without additional permits that are issued for oversized cargo.
Vogele Super 1900-2
Model 1900-2 belongs to the class of heavy equipment. This is a Vogele paver that outperforms similar machines in the competition and is second to none when it comes to paving. With the help of a hydraulic drive, the leveling plate is expanded, which can form a strip of 6 meters in just one pass. Subject to useexpansion devices, this figure can increase to 8.5 m. Additionally, three types of plates with working dimensions of 8.5 can be supplied; 9, 0 and 10 meters respectively. The rigidity of the structure is ensured by a system of tubular guides.
Management
The main task of electronic systems is to create a design profile of the roadway in compliance with all technology requirements. The 1900-2 uses two types of control systems: analog and digital.
The first ones are needed to set the base surface using a copy string, which was previously set by a team of surveyors. A special probe, sliding along this string, transmits signals to the controller about possible deviations. Depending on the received data, the trajectory along which the Vogele paver moves is changed. Sensor characteristics may vary depending on the desired result.
The digital system uses ultrasonic and laser sensors to measure the height of a point. The parameters are pre-loaded into the machine control unit. All data is preliminarily coordinated with the chief engineer and a team of surveyors. This is necessary in order to reduce the work of the latter, as well as to increase the accuracy of the project.
Transportation and distribution of materials
The capacity of the bunker is 14 tons. At the same time, a special gate is provided for performing maintenance work on the machine. RepairVogele pavers can be run directly on the construction site. At the same time, they remove the whole assembly and change it to a new one. This repair method saves a lot of time, thereby reducing machine downtime.
To prevent mechanical damage, there is a shock-absorbing shaft on the bunker, against which the side of the dump truck rests during unloading.
Screw augers, necessary for uniform distribution of the mixture, allow the replacement of working blades and are set in height relative to the auger chamber supports.
Pros and cons
Machines of the Super line are presented in the form of 13 movements. The unit is able to form a strip with a width of 1.8 to 16 m, the capacity of the Vogele paver varies from 200 to 1500 t/h.
Technique can simultaneously carry out paving, as well as distribute the asph alt mixture over the entire width of the future road, after which it is compacted.
The main disadvantage of Vogele working equipment is the very high cost of the units. The repair of one machine costs several times more than the same type of work performed on domestic machines.

Vogele machines are in high demand in the road construction equipment market. You can buy an asph alt paver at quite a variety of prices, it all depends on the technical condition, as well as the degree of operating time of the equipment. The minimum price in the secondary market for the unit in 2006 maybe equal to 5.5 million rubles.
If we are talking about new equipment, then for equipment manufactured in 2013 they ask from 19 million. A completely new car will cost more than 20 million rubles.
Many road companies that do not have enough money to buy an asph alt paver rent it. On average, this costs 3,750 rubles per hour, or 30,000 per shift. Despite such a high cost, cars are popular. In return, the company receives reliable equipment with very high productivity.
