The throttle valve is a complex structural device of the intake system of injection and carburetor engines. The main purpose of this device is to adjust the air supply to the internal combustion engine in order to optimally dose the air-fuel mixture. In general, in terms of its properties, this part resembles a certain valve - when it is closed, the pressure level drops to a vacuum state, and when it opens, then the pressure corresponds to the level of the intake system.
Any part of this kind is equipped with a special element, and it is called a throttle sensor. This, at first glance, a small spare part plays a serious role in the internal combustion engine control system. It is from his testimony that the damper doses the right amount of air for the complete combustion of gasoline in the chamber. Next, check the condition of the conductivity of the two terminals of the sensors. If it is not there, this indicates that this part needs to be adjusted.
And you need to start this process by removing the corrugated pipe that conducts air to the intake manifold. Fortunately, the VAZ 2110 throttle sensor has a similar design to all other VAZ models, and therefore this adjustment instruction will be generalized.
So, to adjust, we need to loosen the damper screw. To do this, you need to fully open it and abruptly release it. If done correctly, you will hear a small click of impact. For the sensor, you need to do the following: loosen its screws and then use a multimeter. With it, you should put one probe to the idle contacts, and the second between the stop screw and the damper itself. After that, we turn the body of the part until the voltage changes with the opening of the valve. As you can see, adjusting the sensor and damper is not as difficult as it seems at first glance.
