And there is even a special lock on the rear doors so that it is impossible to open them on the go (a useful feature if the driver has children). I must say that the “Suzuki Baleno” is a station wagon, a car with excellent visibility. There are no dead zones at all. Machines are generally compact, but withvoluminous trunks, under the shelves of which there is also a spare wheel “dokatka”.

Aerodynamics are developed at the highest level of the body. Its specialists developed it experimentally in a wind tunnel. Engineers have struggled with this for a long time. And they achieved a good result, having worked not only on the body structure, but also on aerodynamics. They also specially developed a special synthetic material, with which it was decided to lay out the bottom of the car, the trunk floor, the roof and the shield that separates the power unit from the passenger compartment in several layers. It was also decided to make inserts out of it, which dampen the resonant phenomena that occur on the dashboard parts made of plastic.

About powertrain

The first generation Suzuki Baleno engine was quite powerful for that time. 1, 3-liter, with a capacity of 85 and 92 horsepower, 16-valve, equipped with distribution injection - not all Japanese cars of those years could boast of such characteristics. These motors work under the control of a 5-speed "mechanics" or a 3-, 4-speed "automatic". Due to such checkpoints with perfectly matched gears, the Suzuki turned out to be very dynamic. Of course, cars with manual transmission were especially popular at that time.
