This affected the smoothness of the ride and immunity to off-road. Springs toowere strengthened and became two meters long, so during the rally, neither the car nor the crew is harmed by jumping.
This modification uses a 4x4 formula, this miracle is accompanied by a sixteen-speed manual ZF complete with a Steyr transfer case. A center differential lock is provided, which made it possible to increase the cross-country ability of the machine several times. This development allows KAMAZ to rise to the podium in almost all prestigious world races since 2003.
The supporting frame is made in a lightweight version, the inserts are made of composite materials, which increased the strength and rigidity of the frame structure. Fourteen leaf springs are located at the front and ten are installed at the rear. This is what a machine designed to win looks like.
The design feature is the rigidity of the cabin fasteners to the main frame and the strength of the crew seats to the cabin body. In this design option, the driver can fully feel all the nuances of the movement and respond correctly to changing situations. Cabin safety is ensured by a welded pipe frame, which is attached inside the cabin.
It is worth saying that in sport mode this monster consumes about a hundred liters for every hundred kilometers. But for victory, this is perhaps a small loss. For rally, the car is equipped with a twin fuel tank and holds 1000 liters.
