Suzuki Boulevard - this is the name of a series of cruisers, which was launched in 2005 by Suzuki Motor Corporation. These motorcycles are the result of the merger and modernization of such well-known model ranges as Savage, Volusia, Marauder, and also Desperado. And so the Suzuki Boulevard motorcycle turned out. Photos of this model, after its release, won the hearts of many bikers: they depicted an “iron horse”, made in a catchy and stylish design.

Series Description

It has three main lineups, and now we will list them. So, the first one is the Suzuki Boulevard C90. These are cars made in the classic style inherent in American cruisers. They are distinguished by deep wings and wide wheels. This series is represented by three models - two of 2005 and one of 2008. Each of them has such a feature as a 32-bit electronic injection system (which, by the way, unites them). The other row is called the Intruder 1400/Suzuki S90. These are choppers, characterized by a narrow front wheel on an inclined fork. Three vehicles stand out in this lineup:

1) S40 (by and large, this is a slightly modernized Savage 650);

2) S50 (air filter and new seat added);

3) S90 (Similar to S50).

And the last row - Suzuki Boulevard M109. It is worth mentioning that initially it was represented by only one model - the M50. She had electronic injection and some cosmetic changes. But there were other representatives. In 2006 - M109 and M90. They differed in the same frames, but the engine size varied. The motorcycles have a very original futuristic design, which is the exact opposite of the classic C and S. These vehicles are designed primarily for the American market, which is why their designations are indicated in cubic inches.

History of the mini-engine

The process of its creation is very interesting, just like the history of the motorcycle itself. This single-cylinder engine was entirely manufactured by Suzuki. Its working volume was 30 cubic centimeters, and it carried out work on a two-stroke cycle. Some time after its creation, the first motorbike came out, the name of which was Pava Free. This model was introduced in 1953, in May. Despite the fact that this event coincided with the peak of sales and production of auxiliary motors from Honda (which occupied about 70 percent of the entire market), Pava Free was able to stand out even against the background of such a competitor. The fact is that Suzuki made motorcycles different from others. Even at that time, Pava Free was considered the onlya bike with a motor that had a two-speed transmission.

Other models

Much has been said about the Suzuki Boulevard motorcycle. It is impossible not to note some other models that are no less popular. For example, the Suzuki Bandit. Its history is very interesting, this is one of those cases when a rather outstanding motorbike eventually became a real monster. Despite the fact that this motorcycle is more than twenty years old, it is still in demand: a stylish frame made of steel pipes, a powerful four-cylinder water-cooled engine, aggressive appearance - all this attracts the attention of numerous buyers. Or the GSR 600, which feels like a bird in the sky behind the wheel. It is a light and agile motorcycle with excellent handling.
