It was not for nothing that the beautiful car evoked sympathy from the protagonist - the history of this car can capture the spirit of any more or less competent connoisseur of cars. During its 42-year history, the Mustang managed to win many races, win several prestigious titles. For example, according to the Forbes magazine rating, this car is among the ten cars that changed the world. It is recognized as the most popular Muscle Car in history. And all thanks to a well-thought-out advertising campaign. Positioning and promotion of the first generation of Mustangs are considered the most successful in the automotive world. The result of this serious approach was the sale of one million vehicles by the eighteenth month of sales.

But enough of the story - time to go directly to the car.

Ford Mustang BOSS 302 is a restyled modification of the old Mustang. The number 302 in the name indicates the engine size. Translated into a language more understandable to us, "302" means that the engine capacity is 4.9 liters. The modification is oriented towards universal use with a shift in emphasis to racingraces. The modification "Boss 302" is distinguished by a reflashed motor, which made it possible to increase power by almost 10% (440 hp for the "Boss" against 412 for the stock GT version). The engine works with a six-speed gearbox. Thanks to all this, the Ford Mustang Boss car is able to quite confidently keep the road at speeds up to 250 kilometers per hour. Incidentally, the Ford Mustang BOSS 302 is the first model in the series to be capable of over 1.0 g of lateral acceleration (excluding the SVT supercar).

Being well aware of the importance of a good running gear and brake system, the manufacturers did not deprive them of their attention. The brakes here are implemented by four-piston Brembo calipers, 19-inch rims are shod in branded Pirelli tires of impressive dimensions: the rear canvas here is 285x35, and the front one is 255x40.

The Ford Mustang BOSS 302 has stiffer springs with adjustable dampers. Thanks to them, the "Boss" is lower than the stock "Mustang" by 11 millimeters in front and 1mm in the rear. In general, the suspension and braking system in the Ford Mustang BOSS 302 is done at the level and quietly waiting in the wings, hiding in the depths of the car.

For those who do not have enough of this splendor, the manufacturer releases an exclusive version - Ford Mustang BOSS 302 Laguna Seca. Named after the legendary track, the modification is designed to satisfy the most insatiable racing appetites. Of course, it costs more, but for this additional fee youa couple of fancy slicks, upgraded brakes, an upgraded front splitter and a cool, hefty spoiler. In addition, the standard badge will be replaced with an exclusive Laguna Seca plaque so everyone knows who they are dealing with!

Summing up, I would like to say that the new "Ford" came out very interesting, even without taking into account its history. This is an unexpectedly comfortable racing car with good dynamics. And what is most interesting, despite the fact that the engine of the "horse" is almost 5 liters, it is environmentally friendly and economical - fuel consumption is only 14 liters in the city and 9 on the highway.
