When the YuMZ tractor was put into production, the "tractor" classification of the plant's production began. The reasons for this were the following:

• rocket and space production began to cover up;

• deliveries to the domestic market of wheeled tractors increased.

Dnepropetrovsk plant independently produced its first YuMZ-6 tractor in 1971. At that time, at the plant, this production covered work for the rocket and space complex and the export of tractors took place under the Belarus brand. Although there were external differences with Minsk tractors.

Justice was restored only by the end of the 70s. Then they began to be called the YuMZ tractor, but several models continued to be produced under the Belarus brand.

During these years Yuzhmash tractors were considered the best. The first quality mark was awarded to this particular machine, it was named "Machine of the Year".

In 1990, a complete modernization took place - and the sixth series was born, the main feature of which is adaptation to construction. It wasa rear-wheel drive chassis for this tractor was produced, brand SESH-6002. Also released in the series 10244 YuMZ tractor. It has been upgraded to work in the public sector and equipped with transport and loading equipment.

Today, the plant continues to improve its products. The YuMZ mini-tractor, a recent development of the plant, is designed for agricultural work. Uses many types of mounted and trailed equipment. The design is somewhat archaic, but this does not reduce all its advantages. The tractor is quite reliable and also easy to operate and inexpensive for this type of equipment.

There are currently only two models produced - the YuMZ-6AKL tractor and the 6AKI model. Their difference is only in starting the engine - and there is also a compressor for the transport model.

In the mid-90s, the front suspension of this car was reinforced. As a result, he received the SESH-6002 tractor chassis. This model has high durability and reliability in operation. Installed diesel engine with a capacity of 60 horsepower. This mini tractor is widely used in agriculture. It is quite cheap to maintain and has a low purchase cost. There are a large number of spare parts for the car on the Russian market - and this is a big plus compared to foreign counterparts.

Today, the Omsk Tractor Plant presents four modifications of this tractor on the domestic market: YuMZ-6AK, YuMZ-6K, YuMZ-6A, YuMZ-6. They took the best qualities from their predecessors. Increased productivity and power, still the machine is reliable and durable. It is distinguished by ease of maintenance. All of the above, plus cheap YuMZ tractor repairs - all this attracts a buyer.
