The Japanese hoped that their creation, called the Honda CB-750, would arouse incredible interest among motorcycle enthusiasts, but the expectations were not met. Despite the failure of the Honda CB-750, the concern did not say goodbye to the idea of creating a whole line of motorcycles with automatic transmission. The projects were frozen and were waiting for better times, when the automatic transmission would be completely finalized, and its characteristics would reach the proper level. Three decades later, cars with "automatic" conquered the world market and became more popular than "mechanics". This result was achieved thanks to the smooth operation of the mechanism, which significantly reduced fuel consumption, increased the maneuverability and dynamics of the car.

In 2005, the Japanese decided to mass-produce the Honda DN-01 model. This sports bike with automatic transmission has become more successful than its predecessor. The new bike received an automatic transmission with six speeds and three modes:

  • Sport.
  • Tiptronic.
  • Automatic.

For motorists, the automatic mode is perfect, which makes it possible to enjoy a comfortable ride, concentrating only on the road.
