Indeed, this is a completely new car, and looking at the photo, you can immediately notice its aggressive design, which, according to company employees, was borrowed from two concept cars: these are Nissans of the Hi-Cross models and Resonance. So, the novelty has acquired a completely new shape of the headlights of the main light, which now resemble the design of a boomerang in their design, as well as a dynamic false radiator grille. The high position of the hood and the brutal lines of the body make the car really off-road, although it belongs to the class of urban crossovers.

According to company employees, the novelty will no longer be equipped with the old 1.6-liter injection engine. In its place will come a more economical 1.2-liter unit, whose power is 113 horsepower. The peak of its torque stops at around 190 Nm. In addition, the updated range of engines also includes diesel units. There will be two. What power the first unit will have, the manufacturer still keeps a secret, but the second one has all the data, including technical specifications. Nissan Qashqai in diesel versions will have a 4-cylinder engine with a volume of 1600 cubic centimeters. The power of this engine is about 215 "horses". The entire line is supplied with either a CVT or a manual transmission in 5 and 6 steps.

Thanks to the fact that the novelty will have such powerful engines, its maximum speed can now be about 225 kilometers per hour. In addition, from zero to hundreds, the car accelerates in just 8 seconds. Almost the same figures are available for the luxury SUV "BMW X5", the cost of which is 3 times higher than the price of the Japanese novelty.
Price
The SUV will appear in Russia not earlier than in six months, but the manufacturer has already named the exact price for Nissan. Depending on the chosen configuration, it will vary from 850 to 900 thousand rubles. Estimated start of sales of new items is planned for the spring of 2014.
The relatively low cost and excellent technical characteristics of the Nissan Qashqai are the key to the high popularity of the novelty, and, probably, no one will be surprised if the crossover surpasses the sales levels of its predecessors.
