And there is also one very interesting exhibit here - the "Amphibian Capsule", a car created by an unknown master in the 70s of the last century. Constructed from an aircraft fuel tank, the steering wheel is a real cast-iron frying pan.

Foreign cars are represented here by Lincolns, Cadillacs, Volvos, Mercedes, Dodges, Bentleys. There are also products from General Motors, Ford Motors, Willis and Jensen Motors. By the way, the museum collection of Cadillacs is truly impressive.

Soviet cars: VAZ, GAZ, ZAZ and ZIL. Presented here is the domestic racing car "Estonia-8", produced in a single copy. Bright exhibits of the exhibition are domestic convertibles. Retro Car Museum, Frunzenskaya

This exhibition is called "Autoville". To get here, you need to get to the Frunzenskaya metro station, from which then about seven moreminutes to walk. This is not only a museum, but also a real cultural center. The Autoville building houses a cafe, a bar, a children's design center and a souvenir shop. At the entrance, visitors are greeted by a 1907 Ford, an excellent vintage convertible that has already celebrated its centenary. The main exhibition is located on the minus first floor of the building.

There are a lot of retro sports cars here - a whole series of Bugatti from different years. In addition, there are status cars of foreign production at the exhibition: Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes. A striking exhibit is the Cadillac de Ville. Elvis Presley himself rode a similar one, and he gave another one, pink, to his mother.

Retro cars in the suburbs of St. Petersburg

Such captivating exhibitions exist, as mentioned above,not only in the capital. The Museum of Retro Cars in Zelenogorsk opens its doors to visitors almost daily. The only day off here is Monday. The exact address of the museum: the city of Zelenogorsk, Primorskoe highway, house 536.

The exposition arose on the basis of the Retro Union club, all vintage cars were provided by its members. By the way, some cars are not originals. These are masterfully recreated copies from the drawings of the past, the reconstruction of which was also carried out by members of the club.

Like many vintage car museums, this one is filled with the spirit of the era chosen by the founders. This is the 30s of the last century, an interesting and significant time for both the European and domestic auto industry.

The most interesting exhibits of the Zelenogorsk Museum

Welcoming visitors The BMW 335 is a chic car, even though it's now eighty years old.

Here are domestic cars that have become somewhat famous. This is ZIL-115, which once belonged to Brezhnev, Pontiac-Tempest, owned by Yuri Gagarin. They truly recreate the spirit of their era.

In addition, you can see a collection of General Motors cars in the museum. These machines are somewhat reminiscent of airplanes. There is something subtly attracting, captivating attention in their graceful lines. Such cars opened a new era for the Western automotive industry in the 50s of the last century. They became real masterpieces for their time.
