In 2015, a new all-terrain vehicle "Viking-29031" was presented to off-road lovers. It is produced in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. Its manufacturer is Aton Impulse, founded in 2001 by Artur Tuktarov.

The appearance of the all-terrain vehicle

Viking-29031 is an amphibious all-terrain vehicle suitable for driving on all types of roads. It was developed on the basis of the Viking-2992, which never entered mass production.

This model is a frame resembling a boat made of duralumin. A frame made of pipes is attached to it, ensuring safety. From above, all this is closed by a fiberglass body. The massiveness of the equipment is emphasized by the lines of the body and huge wheels (130x60 centimeters). They are pumped up centrally.

Another difference from its predecessor is the exhaust pipe. It goes from the bottom edge up along the edge of the body. Ends on the roof with a muffler. It is protected by a special casing along its entire length.

Spotlights were removed from the roof. Instead, they installed a beam with LEDs. Vetkootboyniks are simultaneously attached to the roof and hood. They protect the wipers.

Onroof mounted luggage compartment. You can get there by a ladder attached to the back door.

On the rear bumper made a big step along the entire length. It is very comfortable to stand on it. Hidden under the bumper is a water propeller.

The Viking-29031 is 525 centimeters long, 255 centimeters wide and 270 centimeters high. The clearance of the all-terrain vehicle can vary within 30-60 centimeters. Adjustment occurs due to pneumatic independent suspension. Curb weight - 1.85-2.1 tons.

Declared by the manufacturer load capacity - 850 kilograms. This allows seven passengers (including the driver) to be accommodated in the cabin.

Interior

Comparing the new model with its predecessor, you can see that changes have been made to the interior of the Viking-29031 car. Reviews highlight the positive new features in the cabin.

The panel has become more modern. The buttons are backlit. Pedals are installed the same as on all passenger cars. Their lower edges are no longer rigidly fixed to the floor.

There is a sunroof on the roof, as it was in the previous version of the all-terrain vehicle. Speakers were also installed on the roof. But the sound system may seem a little to some. The management of the company decided to improve the quality and reliability of its productscompared to the previous model. To this end, Viking-29031 received a power unit and gearbox from Ford. The choice was made on two alternatives:

ZMZ-51432-10TD1 (diesel) with a volume of 2.24 liters and a power of 110 horsepower. The maximum torque is 270 Nm. The fuel consumption of this engine is 15 liters per hundred kilometers when driving in the city and 20 liters when driving off-road

Ford's diesel two-liter DW10 engine with a capacity of 163 horsepower. Its torque reaches 340 Nm. For a hundred kilometers, 12 liters are consumed in urban mode, and 18 liters off-road

A six-speed gearbox is installed in two engine options. The maximum developed speed is 80 kilometers per hour.

There is a water propulsion device for movement on water. It creates a speed of 12 kilometers per hour.

The Viking-29031 all-terrain vehicle is equipped with independent suspension on all wheels. Wheelbase 4x4. Reversal pair - front.

Modifications

During development, engineers encountered the problem of the car's small width. All cars moving on the roads must have limited dimensions. Given the large size of the wheels, there is very little space left for the cabin. Therefore, several modifications of the Viking-29031 all-terrain vehicle were developed. They differ in power plants and some other features of the body. These are the options:

Basic, which has four-wheel drive. The structure consists of a closedcab for up to seven people and a trailer

Model with 6x6 wheelbase. The cabin is longer than the first modification, and can accommodate twelve people

Pickup truck (4x4 or 6x6) with a cab with two rows of seats and a small open platform

Closed cab car (6x6) with trailer (4x4)

These variants are given the following names: "Typhoon", "Tornado", "Ranger", "Rescue", "Pickup" and "Ambulance".

All-terrain vehicle equipment

The snow and swamp vehicle of this model is equipped with the following options:

Differential system that blocks center and wheel rotation at the right time

Heating the engine before starting, independent heater
